This is full stock 20g zip that can be dirty flashed over 20f (not sure about older versions). It does not include recovery or laf, and the boot (kernel) is 20f because I was not able to get it to patch.

All firmware was extracted from the 20f KDZ and then patched using the 20g OTA zip, and then repackaged so that it could be flashed in TWRP. I have tested this on my personal device, and have no problems.

As usual, you need to flash Magisk before rebooting, and there is no progress indicator -- so be patient.

No 4k

Every since i went back to stock after using aquarios i dont have 4k recording at all. The 20f and now 20g update, and still no 4k? Gcam does not even give me the option to pick it. Aside from that runs perfectly.

So I just flashed this and for stone reason I'm getting an SD corrupted message.which is kind weird since I've installed it twice from the SD card.

Any thoughts?

Haven't tried reflashing the 20d I was on before yet to see if I get it again

What kernel are you using?

-- Brian
I was using that beast kernel before the flash to g, but after that whatever is built in. Clean and dirty flashes have me the same issue. When I went back it was from the ground up I was running stock on d with no problems. Not bitching just throwing it out there.

You may want to try flashing G and then the beast kernel before rebooting (ofc flash Magisk AFTER you flash the kernel).

I am running the mk2000 kernel and have no problems.

Just wanted to let you know that, that worked. Running fine now. Thanks for the help I'd have never thought of that.

Now, thinking about it there's probably some kind of connection taking place between the kernel and the SD card that gets left behind with a wipe that caused it. Just guessing but either way I'll keep it in mind for next time.

You can not flash TWRP with fastboot command. Try with instruction here https://forum.xda-developers.com/tmobile-g6/how-to/root-h872-to-including-11g-t3775518

Since this is one of the last LG G6 updates that It will get we should start making custom Stock based roms, I feel like keeping all the functionality while making the thing more usable is better than experimenting with it or having to live with bugs I don't know anything about the kitchen or how to make a custom rom or what are the consequences of different settings but yeah

Follow this guide: https://forum.xda-developers.com/tmobile-g6/how-to/root-h872-to-including-11g-t3775518

Using the recommended tools and after you do it successfully you can flash this rom so you get back up to date, you can use your brain and don't need to do this while rooting by just using the latest firmware during the process, tho im not responsible if you damage your device, this procedure is certainly dangerous so read carefully and study it before doing it.

do you have a flashable .zip of just the 20g bootloader?
