I was on the Korean mm and came to this Rom you use the exact same steps.. It wipes you data in the internal sd so it does not matter where you come from.. LP wise and or the Korean mm port.. Which is a LP Frankenstein of sorts

So I am already on 6.0 specifically the korean port of MM. The whole bricking your phone if you try to go backwards is kinda scary so I am hesitant to flash anything. At which step should I jump in on in the instructions. Step 1 assumes im not on 6.0 so if you are, at which point should i pick up? @Eliminater74

I am also on TWRP 3.0.1-0

thanks in advance.
The Korean PORT is nothing more then system/boot and system modded to handle your current keystore and many other mods. It doesnt flash the actual MM images that really covert your device
to MM.......... so your 20% MM and 80% still LP......................

So, start at the top...............

Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using XDA-Developers mobile app
Thats not bad.. its on every device with MM and unlocked bootloader.... Its the new annoying screen you gota look at upon boot...
If you dont like it you will have to relock ya bootloader.. But it wont work.. cause boot is moddifed.. so unlock it is...

as for the LG keyboard.. Just switch to google or install another KB.............
Thats only in the deodexed version only..........
Some things cant be deodexed specially LG stuff like the Keyboard............

I have Part 2 version with the adbd mod, but I havent tested it, I cant personally test it till my new device comes in.. and I wont post it till its tested...............
The worse that can happen with this mod, it bootloops.. Fix that with flashing other one over it..
I'm willing to test it on my device, but can you make a Part 2 version with the mod that is stock? Also do you know why my V10 refuses to charge while off? It will only charge will running. If I attempt to charge powered off, it will just reboot and turn itself on.

Thanks!

Umm.. Dont take this the wrong way, I mean no disrespect by it, But that is what we would call a OXYMORON statement...
You asked to make a Part 2 version with the MOD thats STOCK.. how can it be both at the same time? STOCK means no mods or customizations..............
So it can either be, STOCK or MODDED........ cant be both..... once you touch anything thats stock, its not stock anymore.........

If you are asking me if I can crack open the 100% stock boot/system and put the adb mode into it.. and then change nothing else. Yes I could, but not till its tested and I know it works..
the 100% stock boot is secured and many things wont work.. but I could do it.

My whole point in this Release was to give everyone the possible way to have Stock MM while being able to hold ROOT.. I wasnt expecting to
add this and that and all this too..... What you see is what you would get on the Official MM......... Most are pretty much asking me to
make it like their LP roms they are so used too... If peepz want the LP feel they should probably stick to LP.............
MM is very different, When MM first came to my G3, I refused to run all custom roms with it and anything stock related to it.. I hated it.........
I finally started running it only cause of my MM Kernel............ But having Pure CAF/AOSP Pacrom 6 on my G3 is next to perfect.. Never
had a single crash or anything............ been running it for months............

Yes, im official PAC Maintainer for the G3 D851 T-Mobile..............

But the point here is this, MM is a nightmare.. They dont want you to have root. they dont want you to tinker with device.. They want you to
just run what they give you and nothing more.... And it doesnt help with LG comes in and decides to screw their users over by removing everything
that peepz are used to having on T-Mobile devices..................

No disrespect taken. I meant this part "If you are asking me if I can crack open the 100% stock boot/system and put the adb mode into it.. and then change nothing else. Yes I could, but not till its tested and I know it works.."

Thank you for all of your work. It's really a shame they don't want us to have root. It's so stupid! I mean we own these devices and some of us are even developers and hobbyists. I don't see why they don't give root as an option like developer mode. Hidden away from most people, but you can enable it if you want.

Is ADB supposed to not be working? It didn't work for me until I unplugged my phone, turned off developer options and plugged my phone in, then turned it on. Now ADB works like a charm. No idea what happened lol

Interesting. I tried that and it didn't work at all. I just can't get ADB to authorize.
Lemme say exactly what I did:

Before this I was trying to plug my phone in via USB to do stuff and my computer was not detecting it at all. So I clicked revoke USB debugging authorizations because why not. Didn't do anything.
Then I clicked the Developer Options toggle to try turning it off, but it turned itself back on, which was weird, right at that moment the phone asked me if I wanted to allow the connection, I clicked yes.
Then the settings had a dialog asking me about OEM Unlock (Which was weird too cause it was already enabled), and then I disabled debugging, and turned it back on.
Started working somehow, it was weird.

See I'm using the original Part2 that isn't debloated and I don't have the revoke USB option. See my attachment.

Weird, it looks like trying to disable the developer options with the toggle repeats what happened again, did you try that with your phone plugged in?
Tried that, no dice. I think I'm gonna backup my phone using TWRP, flash the Part2 that is debloated and see if some of the issues I have been running into are gone.

The only device that allows modding is the Nexus, But im not a fan of the NO SDCARD.......... and Its more challenging to work with OEM devices..............
Why work on a nexus device, Where is the challenge there.............. NOW OEM, Thats a challenge........................

I agree, although I like to have an SD Card and a removable battery. The V10 in my opinion is a far better phone than any Nexus. You guys that gain root and bypass OEM security are smart. I used to write operating systems and do kernel work but I don't have a clue how you guys do what you do.

Thanks

Update: I uploaded and posted the adbd mod, NOT TESTED ...

Be warned, I cant test this......... and if you do test it, bootloops are possible.. then drop to recovery and flash other working one over it...........

This mod was reported working perfect on LP.. but not so good on a MM.. but it was only tested on Samsung MM.........
