I just completed those steps which files should I download and in which order? THe last time I ended up bricking my phone. I assume after I followed the guide above Im on 20J? or what? If you can let me know thatll be great.

Flash part 1 20L just once. Do not flash any other part ones from previous releases. Then flash part 2 20L there's a few different part 2's to choose from depending on what you want. Just make sure it's a 20L part 2. I recommend the tweaked debloated.

Your getting these confused. Study and read the thread I referenced before. This ROM is separate from the rooting thread. Your headed towards another brick. Stop now and read, read and read some more.

I understand that the ROM is different from the root thread. I followed the steps 1-3 on that root thread. I flashed LG TWRP file through LG UP and now I have root. Dont I flash the files in this thread now or is there a step I am missing?

If you have twrp installed then flash part 1 once then part 2.

So I just flash them individually in TWRP without rebooting? The step after that says I should unlock the bootloader and get root but I already have that so do I ignore that?

i hope someone can help me, i was using the july version of this thread but my phone yesterday would not boot up at all. i was able to get in twrp by holding down the power and volume as i pulled the battery but after doing this, it would give me a white screen asking if i wanted to factory reset. i selected yes which took me to twrp. after i got the 3 files, the phone randomly would reboot like it has been doing. it takes a lot for it to boot. i was able to flash part 1 but not sure if part 2 flashed correctly since it rebooted. now i cant seem to enter that recovery and is giving me the orange text that says cannot scan for corruption and to lock the bootloader. is this device paper weight now?

Orange text is normal, it's the new standard "bootloader unlocked" warning.
To enter recovery, be sure to pull and reinsert battery, then press vol down+power.
When LG logo appears, leave power for one second (without leaving vol down) then press again and keep pressed. Important: "vol down" must be keeped pressed all the time.
When you are in TWRP, if phone reboots itself without notice, then your device has hardware problems.

Does anybody have the shutdown issue on the v20L rom. When I try to shutdown or restart it would stick there on the animation and then go back to a black screen with only the navigation buttons and top bar showing

try setting to permissive

Since 20L I can't shut localisation down. No big deal though, only problem on dirty flash. Do you guys have this "bug"?

I used Titanium backup to clean the data from all system apps (in lieu of clean flash). After that and a reboot, my location seems to work normally.

No bug at all on localisation to me. Dirty flashed as well.

Edit : clearing datas of location stuffs in TB made it working fine. Thanks for the tip.
Any idea of what I should clean to have the phone rebooting fine? When I want to reboot it hangs on t-mobile screen. Have to remove battery to boot fine.

Yep having issue on shut down too but only after flashing audio mod was wondering if those having issues were on the tweaked build with build prop
