Welcome to the "Energy" ROM thread !


This development thread is the home of my "EnergyROM" custom firmware series for the LG G2 for Tmobile. Here you will find ROMs that I have created for this device over time. My main goal when putting a ROM together is stability. A second goal would be a good, professional look.

I build my ROMs with four main goals.

• Stability through private beta testing before public release
• Eye candy ( I want my ROM to look great and for it to all flow together nicely)
• Speed !!!
• Smoothness, consistency and good aesthetics

I preconfigure a lot of things in my ROM, because when I flash it on my phone, I want it ready to go.

How to Flash this ROM:

- Root your device
- Install TWRP or some other recovery (I recommend the version found here > http://xdaforums.com/show....php?t=2469995)
- Install the downloaded ROM .zip found in post #2

• Removed brightness slider
• WiFi Calling (doh.. it's a TMO ROM.. )

• Fast... Stable.. and GREAT battery life, because it's based on a STOCK ROM.

wow! soo good to see you making roms for the G2! Been awhile since I came across you, brings me back to the good old Windows mobile days with the HTC Touch Pro(ATT Fuze) and HTC Touch Pro 2(ATT Tilt 2) days!

it says fastboot mode???
trying again to see what happens when i do a full wipe.

nope same thing. multi-rom for d800 is a no go.

try again to install this rom then reboot to recovery. get the furnace kernel for d800 and adb push it to /sdcard then install that. now try to boot into system. just an idea, may not work.

Alright... Looks like I might have to try a different kernel to get it to boot on your D800's. Anybody try flashing the furnace kernel on top of the ROM to see if it boots ?

I can't as I don't own a D803... And the kernel IS the boot.img

I was curious how it was going to work for multi variants. Most Roms have separate downloads for each variant.

I know. I took it down while I look into why it's not working for ATT phones. I'll paste the link here... only download if you know what you're doing (like flashing a kernel after flashing the ROM!).
