Anyway any rom should work. Is this your first time configure? Are you sure you configured correctly?
It's not my first time. I have been using custom roms since HTC Hercules. In other custom roms i've managed to configure exchange account properly.
I've installed the ROM from second post, then i can configure the Microsoft Exchange Activesync. The roms in first post dont show this type of account, when i am adding a new account.
The rom in first post hasn't the preload folder?
Thanks for the help.

I'm guessing you new for following my thread. N7000XXLSZ.OXA was leak firmware long time ago.
Just now, I marked "old" on the OP.

PDA: N7000XXLSZ
Phone: N7000XXLSO
CSC: N7000OXALSZ (OLD)

All firmware rom on my post have /data/app and /preload folder.

The difference between first post and second post:

First post:
1. Revamped from second post.
2. More features compared from second post. (I personally edit, modify & added them by myself to make batter way).

Second post:
1. Pure stock from official released from Samsung.
2. Converted from ODEXED to DEODEXED and ROOTED only.

NOTE: Stock from Samsung is ODEX ROM which mean APK (.apk) and cache dalvik engine (.odex) are split into two files component. While DEODEXED ROM files APK (.apk) and cache dalvik (.odex) are merge into one single file inside APK. DEODEXED files can be modify and edit while ODEXED files can't modify. It got lots of errors if you take APK files from ODEXED ROM for theme-ing without DEODEXED them first.

If you just boot your phone from DEODEXED ROM it will take more time compared ODEXED ROM. The engine will extract each of APK files and create ODEX files inside /data/dalvik-cache (.dex) and others /data/data for apk components settings and library (.lib).
DEODEXED ROM will gain stable after APK is extracted the dalvik-cache specially for /system/app & preload/preload/symlink/system/app

APK from Google Play are DEODEXED. APK will extracted the dalvik-cache as well. If you notice after finished downloading your phone will freeze 0.5-1 second. This because your phone CPU use to extract and create dalvik-cache.

So Samsung firmware actually use reversed method. The original method all the languages and the cache are supposed one single pack. But they split them out depending on each of the country.

Change log
[25-04-2013] JZO54K.N7000DXLSE-OLB-OriginalKeyboard.zip (963.53 MB) - Stable
[25-04-2013] JZO54K.N7000DXLSE-OLB-NoteIIKeyboard.zip (886.7 MB) - Stable
- Now language selection will based on respective CSC. (Not applicable with NoteII Keyboard release).
(CSC List: ABS, AFG, ALO, BGL, BRI, BTC, BTU, COA, CPW, CYO, DBT, DOR, EGY, EUR, FOP, FTD, GLB, ITV, JED, KOR, KSA, MAT, MED, MID, MM1, MRT, MSG, MSR, MWD, NEE, ORA, ORS, PAK, PHE, SEB, SEK, SER, SIM, SIN, SKZ, SMA, SMO, STH, TGY, THL, THR, TMC, TMT, TOP, TPH, TRA, TSR, TUN, TWO, VDC, VDH, VDI, VGR, VHC, VIM, VIP, VOD, XEF, XEH, XEO, XEU, XEV, XME, XSE, XSG, XSK, XSP, XTC, XTE, XXV.)
If your language is not on the list, do change it on CSC. The reason behind this because, the Samsung Keyboard input will not showing all languages. But this fixed by keep maintaining the CSC released firmware.
(To change can use app from Play.) (CAUTION: Changing CSC will wipe /data.)
- Added Samsung Chinese Keyboard. (It will set default by system, I can't change this).
- Enabled Call Recording.
- All apps are linked with Google Play moved to /data.

Does OP have any mirror other than uploaded.net for the JZO54K.N7000DXLSE-OLB-OriginalKeyboard.zip download? Can't download from there, but can download from multiupload..

Learning Hub working when is not rooted.

If you notice when you tap & run the Learning Hub and turn out white screen and close again. Because Learning Hub is checking root access.
If root access is valid then it will close automatically, I got feeling in future Samsung will implement this to all their apps.
Also mention by xperiacle when he tried ported Galaxy Note 8.0 on his post for Reader Hub.
You can run Learning Hub by doing this method 1-Click full un-rooted on video's zedomax and you can gain root again by flashing back SuperSU on CWM.

Hi, I have two questions, sorry if they're a bit stupid but I'm very rusty on TW.

1) I restored an old version I had of this ROM (JZ054.N7000XXLS7) because I got an MHL adapter today and wanted to try it out. It's not working (of course...) Any ideas as to what I should do? Or does this ROM not support MHL? I was under the impression it did.

2) When I restored the ROM, I noticed there were no Gapps. I can't remember having to install any when I first flashed this, so...what have I done? (yes I did a full wipe, as set out in the OP)

[EDIT: I did another full-wipe and re-flashed the ROM from scratch again, so now I've got gapps back at least :D Not sure what happened to the original backup, it may have been corrupted but I'm not sure how. Wondering if any of my other nandroids have met the same fate :S ...and if it'll happen again if I make a backup of this one...

MHL still not working though.
