What worked for me

I had to use triangle away to get my baseband to update to NE6. I used Odin 3 times and it didn't work, UNTIL I used triangle away. Try using triangle away if your baseband doesn't change after your first try using the Odin option when updating to the NE6 firmware. It worked for me.

Odin v3.07 or 3.09

Is there a reason to use Odin 3.07 as opposed to 3.09? I'm not the Britest guy but I thought using the most up-to-date Odin would be best. Or am I mistaken as to witch one is the most up-to-date.

And one more question. In your first post the rom being talked about is deodexed and such. In the 2nd post what's being talked about is not deodexed and is simply perfectly stock with no changes whatsoever. Or are the 2 rooms being talked about the exact same.

Thank you for your time

I personally use 1.85. I just have better luck with it. I've seen people use 3.07 and have issues where it doesn't flash over numerous times. Historically yes, newer would be better, but whatever works best for you is what I would use..

I plan to flash this tomorrow. I am curious if anyone has tried to use the screen mirroring feature. I would just like to know if it's working. Thanks for this rom!

I just got Ne6 running on my cell. So kit Kat won't let one have the foto icon functional as a shortcut if One have a pin on the lock screen?

Is there any way to take photos w/o having to pin unlock my phone every single time?

Installed fauxclock and set gov to ondemand. No hiccups lol I'm not sure if it actually set to ondemand or fauxclock didn't save my settings. Runs good though

Lol spoke too soon. Weird reboots.

Darthstalker V7 Superpowered By Compulsion Kernel 13!

Just posting my experience in updating using Odin. Tried to install using the toolkit provided in OP and not tinkering with anything. System updated but not modem/baseband. Saw the link posted by Jovy to the General thread but couldn't figure out why those options were greyed out in Odin 3.7. Happened to also have Odin 3.9. Used that then and flashed from AP. Again, system installed the new update but no changes to modem/baseband. Last attempt to do everything in one step. Looked at the Odin 3.7 files included in the OP. Saw you can edit the Index file associated with 3.7. Look under the section pertaining to "PDA - Phone - CSC". PDA has a one next to it while Phone and CSC have 0. change the 0 to 1. Be SURE not to change ANYTHING else and save. Reopen 3.7 and they should not be grayed out anymore. Load the Odin.tar into each and hit start.

Worked like a charm. Thanks for getting all of this out so early Jovy23.

You need triangle away and stock ne6 kernel to reset the counter then your can flash the modem... After that you'll have to reflash twrp recovery and your kernel

Try using triangle away. It worked for me and you don't have to use Odin v3.07 either, it kind of funny acting lol. I used Odin v1.85.

I cant get my bootloader updated. I tried odin all those files and the ones in the the general forum but it never updates my bootloader.

*UPDATE* I was able to update the bootloader using jovys tar and also having to use triangle away before the flash. I am now on ne6 bootloader and PIN LOCK now works.

I'm in the same boat build number changed but not baseband
Use triangle away. It should work for you. I was getting truly irritated that the baseband won't change but after seeing someone else use triangle away to get it to changed I tried it and BAM it worked for me. Try it:thumbup:

I've found the story behind the lock screen saga. I had the same problem and found out by process of elimination, the solution . It isn't the themes, no not even the kernel. Its loading the firmware... If you had to Odin the entire ne6 then just the modem after,... you can't stop there. You have to Odin the entire ne6 again. Odin entire ne6, ne6 modem, then entire ne6 again. If this helps a thanks would be appreciated folks. That has been a big problem for a couple of folks I've chopped it up with lately ;):)

Jovy,
Can you confirm that your compulsion kernel will work on NE6? Seems like there are mixed reviews.

THANKS!
It works for me but if I want the USB working I have to flash the stock kernel. Guess it's the update.

Where is this triangle away that people are using to flash in odin? I went to chanfires triangle away thread and the two files listed are param.tar and the .apk file. Is the param.tar the file needed to flash in odin?
