I installed the modem via Odin, did a clean wipe and have had no issues. Running fine. Only strange thing is the lockscreen will not let me change it, the option is greyed out.

For comparison, I figured I should report that I am not having any of the issues you all are experiencing with connectivity. My bootloader was updated with the NAE ota, so your suspicions about the older bootloaders causing the problems might be correct.

The order in which I installed this was as such: flash philz > wiped everything > reboot to download mode > flash NAE modem > pulled battery and booted to recovery > factory wipe > installed rom > reboot
I hope not and I hope someone can figure out a workaround. Beating the Knox trip counter is getting more difficult, it seems.

My only other idea to have NAE with 4.4.2 and have Root without tripping Knox is by using Mobile Odin Pro to flash the official NAE tar followed by flashing of just the NAE bootloader via Odin. That's what the international users have been doing. Unfortunately, Knox still gets tripped when installing a custom recovery. :(

SWEET!!!!!

Hey thanks for this ROM I had messed up my "extra" SPH-L720 and was stuck with “Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies & try again“ screen. I tried doing the recovery from my nandroid but it wouldn't work. I flashed a leaked S4 i9505 TAR on ODIN v3.09 and did a few things to get my wifi and 3G/4G data working, but it wouldn't work. So I rooted it, and installed CMW 6.0.4.4 all from ODIN v3.09. Then I installed your ROM and did a factory reset. Once the phone booted up connected to wifi then went into settings/more/activate this device......BOOM!!!! It's back online and working with no issues. Your ROM got my phone back online and working thanks for all your hard work!!!:good::good::good::highfive:

FYI:
I was on MK2 did the OTA file update from stock recovery. Did a nandroid and then tried to flash a photo sphere zip to get it to work, but it went bad. Tried to recover with nandroid and it went bad and end up with the story above....lol

Having the no cellular signal on the update. Was on Tri force 5.4 with NAE baseband. I am on the mf9 bootloader and using philz. The latest February build. Tried Odin nae back on but it failed. Still unknown software and basebrand.

Once your phone boots (took mine a fews minutes) connect to wifi then go into settings/more/activate this device...see picture below

My phone services were not working to start with and had to do these steps above to get my phone to work.

Ooh. So I was on this rom and mk2 and wifi was not working. But now I flashed NAE (which couldn't stick on sacs 5.6) and it sticks! All is well now, thanks unknown!

This was one of the first things I tried, it does nothing. By nothing, I mean it just goes to the SCRTN screen with nothing else shown. Just sits there.

I'm looking through my logcat, lots of permission errors...

Log cat is attached if anyone wants to look through it.

Kind of a strange issue... my backup/restore apps list in titanium backup is missing. Tried reassigning the TB folder and it says that the folder (even on the external sd) is not writable. Is this just Samsung cracking down on permissions?
