Remove the back cover and disconnect and connect battery and then flash worked for me

Why not install the latest stock version rom 20171201 ?

I'm seriously looking into the P9000 US version. Both Gearbest and Elephone are selling it. The only thing holding me back is the stability of GPS. Has that been sorted out, or is it still an issue? I'm running CM12.1 on my P8000 and have zero issues. Did Elephone change GPS chip set in the P9000 that is unreliable, or hard to find drivers?

I'm not on the stock ROM, so cant help I'm afraid, I assume you have checked that it isn't an app you have installed consuming up battery ? Maybe start a new thread (or post question in the ROMs original thread here) and ask for advice to get feedback if others are facing same issue.

2Great work that they implemented a HAL! I see custom ROMs like CM supporting fingerprint. Maybe they will also do it for the P8000?

You can't compare the battery between p9000 and p8000 . its normal that the p9000 is not that strong because its battery is smaller and it has more power (1.94ghz instead of 1.3ghz) . for me its okay. Battery drains quicker but compared to Sony z5 or HTC m9 its the same. 1 day ! Maybe a bit longer..
The p9000 is a great device with good CPU /GPU/ram and its 32gb internal storage.
Its worth to buy.

You saw the post of elephones New p8000 release coming soon.? With New FP Google source etc.Great work that they implemented a HAL! I see custom ROMs like CM supporting fingerprint. Maybe they will also do it for the P8000? Would save me some time to implement it myself
