Adding modem and firmware updates now

Correct me if I'm wrong here, I haven't had a Samsung device since the Transform (if you even know what that phone is), but can't those be applied via a zip? Or is Odin mandatory unless it's an official update.zip from Samsung?

I've followed the Epic stuff the best I could, without having one... and I know a lot of times you had an old modem and stuff and just the updated rom. This is completely different than HTC!

Cool thanks. Now last question for now LOL I'm on Anakonda LG8. Can I full wipe and flash this with CWM as normal? Or do I need to Odin anything also?

Damn I'm nervous about rooting because my last S3 I broke completely trying to go back stock unrooted don't know how but did this is so tempting thanks for making and posting these JB goodies another thing I don't like is that counter thing that turns me off from rooting as well can someone let me known what bugs there are and if it has the same bugs as the T-Mobile leak thanks

Yes i always wipe everything to ensure a clean install.

Yep lost mobile data and root. Wiped 3 times, installed rom, then installed modem/firmware.
