How would I go about removing the hboot? Unzip firmware.zip, delete hboot.img and zip it back up as firmware.zip (sorry if noob)?

edit: I also see a recover.img, will flashing this overwrite my recovery?

I tried this - unzipping returns "invalid package" and i tried downloading it a few times... could it just be the mirror?

turns out that the firmware.zip is encrypted. I'll re-zip for s-off without the recovery and hboot.

Weird, I was able to unzip remove hboot and recovery, rezip and flash. One thing I am noticing, wireless doesn't want to work right now, strange.

Try reflashing your boot.img the firmware overwrites it.

I just wanted the radio, so I just took out radio.img and did "fastboot flash radio radio.img"

Phone seems to be working fine. Did I do it right? I didn't want to flash the other files.

You can't do it if you're s-off but locked. Just run moonshine and it should work.

If it doesn't, just flash it through recovery again and it'll be fine.

I as able to reflash firmware.zip with my roms boot.img in there and wireless now works. Not sure how I would no longer have s-off though.

Heads up, I downloaded the stock rooted zip, mirror 2 and when flashing, it said it was installing the last update .10 by viper.. missing something? It also failed

Forgot to edit that. All I did was take the updater script out and use it in mine just because it was easier on me. I'll fix it.

Try flashing it again and let me know where it fails and get me /tmp/recovery.log if you can.
