Well, I tried it and it booted...

There are issues with the UI (difficult to describe: like overlapping windows - weird).

I do not get along with the new launcher.

I was resetting the whole thing as per the instructions.
On the re-setup I did not enable WLAN in order to not feed too much into Google.
Then I ran serjars debloat script -> on the next reboot the initial setup wanted to commence but could not because some (which?) SONY stuff got deleted. I could not stop the process. I could search how to set the flag "setup done" ...

After several tries/factory resets approaching pure stock experience I gave up.

Now I am back with stock rooted via Magisk 18.1 and with the help of Titanium Restore getting back to where I was this morning.

I like the idea of patching but could not get a stable/comfortable setup after several tries.

I notice in the google drive link the name is XZ1_eXistenZ_Pie_v6.0.0_47-2-A-8-45.zip , I guess it is the 47.2.A.10.45 version though ..:)
Nice to see your rom again, now also for the xz1 !
If I install this on a stock rom, do I need to flash a boot img with some drm fix (I don't have a ta backup) or do I just install this on a clean installation and flash magisk? ( I have a G8342 dual)

With no disrespect, your rooted.. but as the XZ1 started out with oreo you won't be able to downgrade so far.. But to give you a better picture, I was on oreo and was one of the few that was able to update pie when it was first released then thanks to j4nn excellent work, for those who hadn't already unlocked their BL.. He came with a method to allow us to back up our TA partition (DRM keys) but in order to do so you have downgrade back to oreo to do so for his method to work.. So it is possible..

It should work normally, I use patches for my rom since many years but I might know why you have issues.

It is my favorite rom for Xperia Z2. I glad to see this on my Xperia XZ1. Everything works fine.

Can i help with translate ?
And my version of stock ROM is 47.2.A.8.24 and the same version of ROM is in XperiFirm, so can i flash this verion of eXistenZ anyway ? I have XZ1 Dual SIM G8342.

    Fresh installation:

    • UNLOCKED Bootloaders

      • Flash latest Pie firmware with Newflasher.
      • Flash latest TWRP.
      • Reboot in recovery (Power off then press Power and volume down in the same time, when it vibrate, release power), Wipe Data, Cache and Dalvik/ART Cache.
      • Flash the patch with the same model and build as the build you flashed with newflasher.
      • Flash Magisk.
