INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS

CHECK THE MD5 SUMS OF ALL DOWNLOADS
FLASHING AND TROUBLESHOOTING EXPERIENCE IN FLASHING IS A MUST
BACKUP YOUR CURRENT ROM IN RECOVERY
IF COMING FROM OTHER ROMS, FULL WIPE
V8.0 IS NOT UPGRADABLE FROM PREVIOUS VERSIONS, FULL WIPE NEEDED.

IM USING TWRP 2.3.3.0
KEEP USB CABLE UNPLUGGED.
FULL WIPE X2 - TWRP MENU > WIPE/FORMAT > CACHE, DALVIK, SYSTEM, FACTORY RESET. IVE SEEN STUFF STICK AFTER ONLY 1 WIPE, RARE BUT HAPPENS, IF HAVING ISSUES DO THE WIPES.
INSTALL SUPERLITE V8.0 ROM
FLASHING WILL TAKE ABOUT 20 SEC ON TWRP

REBOOT AND TAKE A TEST DRIVE OR FLASH YOUR FAVORITE GAPPS
LET PHONE SETTLE FIRST FOR 10 MIN, THEN OPEN EVERYTHING AT LEAST ONCE. LET IT SETTLE AGAIN.
PLUG IN USB CABLE - MEDIA SCANNER WILL RUN - LET IT SETTLE.
TEST FOR SPEED, THERE SHOULD BE NO TO MINIMAL LAG IN ANYTHING YOU OPEN.
BACKUP THE ROM
NOW YOU CAN DO WHAT THE F**K YOU WANT TO THE ROM.
DONT ASK ABOUT CUSTOM KERNELS AS I DONT USE THEM

V8.0 built on Jan 19/2013 compatible with the newer custom kernels.
HoloLauncher HD 2.0.1(free version), its lighter than my previous choice of apex, replaces stock cm trebuchet launcher.
Fixed previous issue w/borked home button when flashing slgapps right after flashing rom.
CM bug - option to show am/pm in status bar the "clear notifications" icon will randomly appear/disappear, flipping from portrait to landscape will help.
Quick search box - box is there but not functioning until you install "google search" from play

Dont think there will be any updates until we get a working cm10.1 rom.

Thanks for the ROM m8 works great the only thing that I been having problems was the stock browser won't open no biggy I downloaded chrome and pic messaging is a bit too slow other than that its great

did you test b4 the rotation fix for browser

wipe would be for any standard rom install, sdcard are not touched unless you wiped them, factory reset is not a wipe of sdcards if thats what you were talking about

usually happens when not giving it time to settle or using instigators kernel, or an older cwm, i only use twrp, let me know how it handles

Now, you know I have to try this! Was local_manifest.xml change all you needed to do to compile for hercules. Then sinc again or did you have to do anthing else other than the fix I had to do to get my build going again? By the way I love the way you trimmed down gapps too! I've been using your gapps for a while now. I'm maxed out for the day on thanks but will nail it tomarrow!

The browser won't launch and it doesn't seem like the home button is working.

md5's all check out. Going to try reinstalling everything.

The keyboard is absolutely lag free though - amazing. I think I've noticed KB lag on every rom imaginable, but you're right. Zero lag on this one (at least so far).

Edit: yup, just reinstalled everything - problems mentioned above are still persistent.

usually when the home button is not working is because of performing just a factory reset w/out wiping the system, you would need to wipe both plus the caches, and be on twrp or latest sk8's cwm(cwm not tested though)
