Yes, 2.2 will be great once it's out. I haven't kept in touch in what's what with Froyo for a while though. Is there a confirmed date yet or are they still p*ssing around?

*cough cough* .. in case anyone is interested in my froyo superuser rom

I've been using it all afternoon and I've tried a number of reported buggy things in other roms and they seem to be fine on mine so yeah. Enjoy ;)

Nice!, your roms are verry stable!
Is it posssible to make a rom with the DarkTremor a2sd?
Sure, uploading now.

EDIT: Hang on, I'm not sure how to get the a2sd option in applications section which you can tell it to always install apps on sd and all that. All I can give you is the ability to move apps to your sd one by one manually.... hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...... ok I'll have a look into it and let you know.

EDIT2: Ok I've had a read of this darktremor thingy and its just pissed me basically. So much bloody work and confusing commands and all this crap just to get apps on your sd in some apparently super amazing way better way than the normal way. Until I understand it I'm gonna have to go and say that yeah nah I'm probably not going to be able to do what you asked for. So sorry about that. I am however gonna try and get the normal way to work (the type you see on cyanogenmods where its just got an on/off switch basically for apps2sd). So yeah, at the moment I probably won't be working on the darktremor thing, but the normal a2sd yeah sure.

EDIT3: I'm developing it now :) I looked into it a lot and it seems like a good idea and something for me to do ;)

EDIT4: After trying several times and spending countless hours it has not been a success unfortunately. However, after trying out darktremor through a working rom I even run into problems there. It seems, in my opinion, that even if I got it to work somewhat there would be so many people having problems that are related to the rom + darktremor and to be honest I don't know well enough about developing or darktremor to be able to fix them. It would create such a large plane of possible causes of error that .. well yeah I wouldn't be able to help, not without doing a massive amount of research that I just don't time or interest for. Sorry guys, gonna have to call quits on this one.

Curto,

I finally solved my rooting problems and installed your new 2.2 KIS rom on both my wife's and my own Legends. All I can say is it is excellent! The phones run well without any problems: the best outcome. Thanks for all of your work.

ive copied the .zip files to my SD card n tried to "install ROM from SD card"

ive selected "wipe data and cache", it reboots, then a picture with a legend lying down slightly angled up appears with a big red question mark above it

You're rooted right? From memory the cause of that problem is either you're not rooted, or the rom manger recovery is bugged.. or maybe you don't have that "update.zip" file which I think either is the recovery, or at least has something to do with it lol

Download this, and then put it on your SD card. Then turn off your phone, then hold the "volume down" button down and then press the power button at the same time (this will then boot into a different screen with androids on skateboards). From here, mine usually does something for about 5 - 10 sec and then it lets me use the buttons (it tells you which buttons do what). So from here select recovery, and then you'll get a black screen with a phone and red triangle with an exclamation mark. So then you just press the "volume up" button and the power button and it should pop up with blue writing asking you to reboot, apply sdcard:update.zip etc. Oh and if it doesn't come up right a way and it says down the bottom E:Can't open /cache blah blah just leave it for a few seconds and the blue writing should pop up. If not just keep pressing the volume up button and the power button until you get it. So Once you get the blue writing select the Apply sdcard:update.zip option (using the same controls as before) and then magically the clockworkmod recovery should pop up. Then of course from here you just do the usual wipe data and cache and then install zip from sdcard etc etc. Hopefully this helps, cheers.
