I have searched "no data during call" and no "internet during call".

But I'm on the newest stock version of the rom.
Flashed ex kernel.
Newest bootloader / radio.

I have no data during a phone call.

I was previously on the custom build, and data worked during a call.

Any help?

Thank you

A few things to try.
Toggle airplane mode a few times.
Reset your APN's.
Remove lock screen security and reboot.
Power off, remove sim, power up, power off replace sim, power up.
Change network preference from global to CDMA, GSM etc..etc.

Hello, i haven't seen this rom untill now, and i don't know much about it.
1. What is the diference between the stock rom and this one?
2. Does it have always on display like the pixel 2?
3. Also, is this looking like the pixel 2 with blue accents and so on?

;) lol if you read seriously 1 or 2 pages you will see multiple answers for the same question that is asked weekly.

I tried those things and nothing worked.

Flashed newest boot loader and radio.

Dirty flashed rom.

Typed *#*#4636#*#* and checked in there. The VoLTE provisioning and the other VoLTE are switched off and when I switch them on the just go back off.

It also says ims not registered.

I logged into my vzw and turned off hd voice for 20 mins rebooted the phone. Then activated hd voice waited 20 minutes and rebooted the phone.
Either something is missing in this rom with it to work with vzw? Or vzw won't let it work with it on their end.

I'll probably just flash the custom rom again since the hd voice and data during calls worked fine with that set up.

hey,I'd like to install this time but I got a few questions as to I'm used to simple rom flashing.
1. what is vendor, how do I know if I need to install it or not and how do I install it? I see people are saying both ADB and TWRP. I know how to use TWRP but ADB no idea
2. do I need gapps for this?
3. for TWRP I need a 'bootloader' . I don't know what that is either

thanks in advance!

you should do some research on google first, like what is vendor, what is bootloader, radio image, adb fastboot , etc before you enter advanced forum. or you should check nexus 6p general forum.

I really did do my best when it comes to research. I wouldn't have asked for help here if I understood. I expected some step by step instructions,or at least a link to something like that. but thanks for your reply :)

These are pretty beginner questions so I'm betting you'll get a lot of flack for posting them (do your research). Here's the skinny - if you've already flashed in TWRP on this device you can use it to flash the vendor (download the vendor image only from the IP, switch TWRP to .img from .zip when you're selecting a file to flash, flash to vendor partition). Gapps is baked in (at least as far as I remember it is). If you've already used TWRP you can disregard the bootloader. If you don't have TWRP you'll need to find the forum for it and follow the directions to get it installed (the toolkits are pretty seamless for this).

Might want to swap the download links... Custom one appears to be the stock version, and vice versa. Just downloaded the wrong one and flashed. No Aroma. Now need to download the other one...

Are you sure you are reading it right? Custom built is vanilla source built. The factory image build has the armoa installer.

Question on Bluetooth

Everything does seem to be working fine. But for some reason I can pair Bluetooth devices, but the next day I have to pair them again. Anybody else run into that?

Thanks.

Of all the times I've been on this ROM I have never had it happen, and my car seems to be picky as hell as well

Battery consumption in stock-based ROM with aroma installer is the same as ROM stock 8.1? or have modifications that spend more battery? someone can clarify my doubt please.

This is completely subjective.

Everyone will have a different experience.

In my case, stock with stock kernel gives me my best battery life.

You're going to have to test each for yourself to know.
Good luck ! :)

if I already know that it depends on the use and experience of each one. but I doubt if it is ROM with aroma has some modification that consumes battery. or are they just visuals? sorry for bothering
