On 8.1 now and running great! Any idea why when using my phone as a Hotspot it will not let me use 5G? Said it wasn't available in my country, but I am in the US, and I have always used 5G setting while tethering my phone as the Hotspot. Also, hold back arrow to kill (force close) setting is missing from the Developer menu. I love this feature when an app isn't responding.

I am getting this weird issue where while I am using the phone it will randomly just shut off and it won't allow me to turn it back on until I plug it into a charger for at least a second. I can't seem to find a pattern to the issue? Battery life doesn't matter, it could be at 99% and happen. I also two weeks ago changed out the battery with a brand new one; at the time I was on 8.0 and had no issues. The issue started with Android 8.1. It has happened while on this rom many times and it happens with a stock 8.1 factory image. I need more data but I never had this issue with 8.0; also I didn't install the pixel mod. Anyone have any thoughts?? The phone completely shuts down and nothing will turn it back on until I place it on the charger for a second. I can even unplug it and it will turn on, as long has its at least been on it for a second?????? I really want to sell the phone to my brother and he wants it, but I can't give him an issue like this.
I had this problem, I think I just cleared some cache stuff, reflashed the ROM without viper, substratum, Google DNS and fstrim. It stopped shutting off, I'm not sure which was the problem. I tried many things, but excluding some stuff seemed to work.

Edit
Okay maybe this was a placebo, but the frequency of the shut downs have decreased to 1 every other day.

This is for 8.1?
I've used previous superuber kernels and they were always great. But I've only seen it posted on the ABC rom thread and it was always for 8.0.

So just want to make sure this is actually for 8.1
TIA
yes, I'm with 8.1 stock and it does a fine job, absolute stable on my side.

This kernel is really fast , I love it , but it consume battery very fast .
How to fix it ?
Use a kernel manager and try out what works best for you.
You can use the one I had linked or any other of your choice, like ex or else.

Has anyone had any problems with android pay not connecting to pay terminals? It worked fine on stock but doesn't seem to detect the terminals but the ROM passes safety net
