Hello, Im using nightly 11-11-2022
Today I got home, I leave 4 phones playing a game with a bot
and the X3 pro temp was 44°, (advanced charge controler show the temp) touched it and was almost burning, while the note 9s, note 8, and note 7 temps are okay, like 39°
This isnt the first time the phone was very hot
Should I format it and try the last nightly?

Just updated to latest nightly, recent apps navigation button is not working, any workaround?

Edit: It may be related to the fact that I removed Trebuchet with magisk debloater, currently using Microsoft Launcher, is there any way to get Trebuchet back?

Edit 2: Tried reinstalling nightly and reflashing FlameGapps, the problem persists.

SOLVED: After reinstalling Gapps I was able to restore Trebuchet from debloater app, button is working again.

For me updating bootloops it like 50% of time, sometimes i have to reflash gapps, sometimes lygisk does not survive, sometimes it just works. There is absolutely no chance to guess. So if it bootloops after an update, high chance you just have to reflash gapps and it boots.

It says in the installation instructions you need to be on Android 12 to flash LineageOS. I've got Android 13/MIUI 14, so I have to flash A12/MIUI 13, and when LOS will be updated to needing A13 binaries, I have to flash A13/MIUI 14 again (losing my data and having to set up my phone again), then flash LOS?

Found a bug in WhatsApp camera, sometimes when you take a picture it doesn't and you have to keep trying...

hello @SebaUbuntu, a doubt ... in terms of development surya is very different from vayu ? I ask because Surya already has lineage 20.
SebaUbuntu doesn't hang around here much. Better to check his telegram channels.

Since surya is maintained by different people, you can't really expect similar timelines for releases. Last post he made about ETAs, vayu was undetermined.

That being said, Xiaomi released a v14 firmware for vayu recently. So don't lose hope yet ;-)

Probably, yes.

As mentioned, the maintainer doesn't check this thread.
It is also important to note that Surya is not maintained by a guy that think is a good idea to maintain dozens of other devices. Yes, SebaUbuntu maintained so many devices that there bound to be problems that he will never find time to fix it.

The best anyone could do is go to his telegram and spam bug reports.

That's why I hoped it was a testbuild of original. But probably not.

Looks like many Rom developments are dying. Because of old 4.14 kernel. Even Arrow13.

As long as Lineage is maintaining LOS19 is fine for me.

A14 still supports 4.14 but it might not be the case for 15 or 16.
I too hoping someone would bring the kernel to 5.10 or better, on GKI.
That is because this phone is a really good phone, for the price and performance so it is likely to last a few more generations.

Hi, I just install LOS in one Poco X3 Pro. But, camera app is quite poor, a part of only one camera is available. Is the any option to have better camera and/or have access to other cameras?

There is a whole topic about GCam check that out.

Why GApps? I have them, but why is the first update every month working? Doesn't that mean there is a bug in every update that's not the first of the month?
Some guy told me the updates are all the same; meaning no difference between the first of the month and those released each other week.
That can't be true. Therefore it must be possible to find the difference and change the "weekly" updates for a good increase in software/device compatibility.

    Kind Regards :)

LineageOS is a free, community-built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 12L (Sv2) designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS still includes various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS GitHub repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a complete list of changes & features.
