Hi, I bought a new X3 Pro and wanted to know if I have to flash a specific firmware to use this rom? Those available only show v14, so I guess I should keep the one already installed in the phone?

If someone tried Arrow I wanted to know what would you suggest between it and LOS? I don't care about a specific Android version, just need a stable rom for daily use that doesn't drain battery. thx

Hello,

I have wired headset buttons problem: when I push vol+ or - buttons on headset, I can only see reaction on screen like as I would touch the screen. But volume wont change, so buttons working fine, but not send commands to player to volume up. Any solution?

Tried both. LOS seems stable but I don't like the A12 UI (not LOS fault). So I like ArrowOS (A13) better, but it doesn't seem too stable as I have problems with music players and the bundled Contacts app keeps crashing.

Since months, i am using LineageOS 18.1 (Android 11) on my Poco X3 Pro (EU Variant) : rock solid !
Now it's time for me to upgrade ! I want to install LineageOS 19.1 (Android 12.1). What steps should i follow ?

I am right ? (see instructions below)

1. Wipe partitions with TWRP
2. Flash Latest LineageOS recovery (just in case)
3. Flash Latest LineageOS 19.1 ROM
4. Flash MindTheGApps (is it the way to go for Android 12.1 ? I use OpenGApps on Android 11)
5. Flash back TWRP recovery
6. Reboot system

Should i flash stock MIUI ROM or something before upgrading ? ⚠️
Should a flash a different firmware or something before upgrading from Android 11 to Android 12.1 ? ⚠️

Thanks in advance guys ! :)

Hi. I did the same upgrade some months ago. Here and in following answers it was discussed - and it worked for me. 👍 https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...-1-for-poco-x3-pro-vayu.4301199/post-87452867

Why GApps? I have them, but why is the first update every month working? Doesn't that mean there is a bug in every update that's not the first of the month?
Some guy told me the updates are all the same; meaning no difference between the first of the month and those released each other week.
That can't be true. Therefore it must be possible to find the difference and change the "weekly" updates for a good increase in software/device compatibility.

    Kind Regards :)

That's why I hoped it was a testbuild of original. But probably not.

Looks like many Rom developments are dying. Because of old 4.14 kernel. Even Arrow13.

As long as Lineage is maintaining LOS19 is fine for me.

A14 still supports 4.14 but it might not be the case for 15 or 16.
I too hoping someone would bring the kernel to 5.10 or better, on GKI.
That is because this phone is a really good phone, for the price and performance so it is likely to last a few more generations.

LineageOS is a free, community-built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 12L (Sv2) designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS still includes various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS GitHub repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a complete list of changes & features.

Thanks for finally releasing LineageOS, but you devs are 3 months too late... ArrowOS has inadvertently stolen my heart in your absence, lol.
