Hi!

My samsung videoplayer(stock) stopped working. when I click on the app or widget I just get the message " videoplayer has stopped".
Do I have to install the rom again to get it to work?

Can anybody help me with this please?

I guess u might flashed forest kernel. If you move back to philz, problem would be solved. .

Thank You for helping . Yes You are absolutely right!! I went back to Philz and flashed the sweetrom v11 again. Then it worked. But flashed forest again because it makes the rom go very smooth.

Tried to find other videoplayer with widgets and good kodek. did not find any. So I use Mx player and Mx Player Kodek (ARMv7)( not the neon version!!). Works for my downloaded movies so far (but miss the stock videoplayer widget when I use Page buddy

Ok problem solved. I flashed the latest forest kernel. Now I changed it to version 1.55(hello forest) http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=50091694#post50091694
This is a more stable version. And now also stock videoplayer work

Success. I have managed to fire up my Note 1 after about 6 months. Might have to cook a new rom sometime. Maybe

New material design apps are killer for my note, ram fills up like crazy. Wonder if my trusty old n-7000 could travel with me for another year. . batteries replacements are not as good as stock, screen already has "notification bar ghosting" and my m-usb port has seen a lot of knock-off cables do their thing *ifyouknowwhatimean*
I can barely get a stable data conection to my pc, and that's just twisting the poor thing in every possible angle until it stays put (flashing roms is almost impossible as connection drops randomly)
If it holds up till I save for my Note 4, that'd be a 4 generation leap! :laugh:

Never thought it'd last so much, SweetRom surely has had an enormous part there, so thank you a lot for that!

So far so good, overall a great ROM. It's nice to get back to good ol' touchwiz after some time playing with AOSPs. An issue though, whenever i removes the battery it bootloops so i have to wipe data through recovery and restart. Maybe because of a different bootloader? Can you provide a flashable LTA (or any working version) bootloader? Or can i fix this issue in another way? Thank you.

Try to flash first a Stock Samsung Rom and try out ift it works. After that your Custom...

Sweetrom v10.3 still the best one. No need for other tweaks because the rom is tweaked enough.

Some mods/themes, only for Sweet Rom V11,11.1

Make a back up and flash through recovery

1- S4 Statusbar + Stock Clock
2- S4 Statusbar + Centre Clock
3- S4 Stock Icon + Stock 23 Custom Toggles

4- Stock 4-way reboot
For this mod I used android.policy.jar modded by @bratboo (thanks to him) which already modded for torch in lock screen so if you flashed that mod before, you won't lose torch mod by flashing this mod. In this 4-way reboot, hot boot is fixed and working fine.


5- Browser Edge Zoom Enabling

6- Long press menu button to kill app
already included torch in lock screen and stock 4way rebbot

4,5 and 6 mods also have transparent status bar on lock screen mod too but you need to flash one of mods from 1,2 or 3 mods too, it doesn't matter which one you flash first.
