[ROM] Sweet ROM V5 LRU 4.0.4 [now online]

I have a question I am running clean note v6 it is a 4.0.4 LRU Rom . If I flash this Rom do I really need to do a full wipe. I mean I know I need to do a Davik cache wipe but since they are both the same base os system should I be ok.

That should be fine though if you have any issues I would advise that you go back and clear data.
Hydracore 5.4 kernel runs really well on this ROM to if you want to try it at some time

hey not-i is there anyway i can rip out of your rom the VPN settings/system apps that are needed to make the Default System VPN work properly on this other rom? or would it be better if i just try'd flashing your rom over this old one. then reboot to CWM recovery and reflash the Hydrakernel

CLEAN INSTALL OF V5 using Hydracore Kernel 5.4 OC
anyone have music player issues.. it wont find any of my music? and its on my external SD card in the folder " MUSIC " and another folder labeled "FLAC "

i tried to load camera (media scanner running) - i left the phone for 20 mins ( nothing happened. )
I tried Stock kernel from this rom, i tried speedmod K3-15 , i tryped HYDRACORE 5.4OC , now the gallery loads but still wont see any pictures or music on EXTERNAL SD CARD . and camera still force closes and says MEDIA SCANNER RUNNING.
NOT-I any fix for this?? or do i need to switch roms and try another. even tho i do enjoy your rom.

try wiping cache and on the media storage and reboot see if it helps, also try to unmount and mount your sd card, both of this might work. :good:
Turn off phone, pull out sd card. Put back in and reboot. That may help but I haven't seen this issue with this ROM before

I just tried to reset cache didn't work and used a cache cleaner. next is what not-i said .I got my music back but still no photos on external sd card. And camera won't stop saying media scanner.

Tried didn't work camera still closes and says the media scanner is still running.
Seriously tho, if i can't get the camera working then i need to flash a different rom, because i need my camera.
going to try to re-flash this rom again. on another clean install. and see if that fixes it. ( DIDN"T HELP )
Ok so i went and Cleared Data under "MEDIA STORAGE" that stopped the processes and i got into the camera. BUT if i reboot the phone, it goes back to saying "SCANNING MEDIA DEVICE" . so major BUG Not-i because i dont have this issue in CleanNote v6 on LRK based rom.

check this out SDVSF: so i am looking at the media storage .apk in detail info section , and the size of the file keeps going up. it went from 144KB like normal , to now 34MB. of data and the size of the file is close to the same.. now the file isn't moving anymore after i let the phone sit for like 40MINS. but it still says the thing is running.
That's real weird, if you want you can search here in xda to see if someone has a solution, i know i had a little issue with media when i was in ics stock, also you might wanna try out not-i's jb rom it's really stable, smooth and battery friendly. Anyway i hope you sort this out.:thumbup:

it took alot but i fixed the issue guys..
Pull SD card out . Run Disk Defrag/repair disk.
format internal Memory
put my data back on my SD card
boot into CWM, factory reset, clear data wipe cache/davlik cache
reinstall sweetrom v5.

where is the bootscreen animation located (sorry to ask kind of a n00b question but never done it on this phone before ) just curious where the folder is located and a good place to download other bootscreen animations.

I have to Say this Rom is really nice very smooth very low memory usage and I'm on hydracore 5.4 OC so the battery is really nice.
I think the only way I will go to JB is after the official release.
