Alot of the theme and mod links still work, also caines classic kernel is running this thing like a champ! I updated all the apps, been a while since i last ran this (PRE-ICS days) I forgot what a smooth, stable, and great rom this was!

I'm still on my OG4G with Synergy, and am finding something pretty trippy here in L.A.

As more and more people bail on their OGs (and other older Wimax phones), my 4G (WiMax) signal just keeps getting better! Where I used to get 1 bar, I now get 2, 2 bars 3, and in most of LA, I get 4 bar 4G!

As much as I want the SGSIII, using it on 3G has zero appeal for me, and since Sprint can't give me a firm date on LTE in LA, I'm staying put.

That's pretty cool. I am sticking with my Evo 3D for the same reasons- no chance at all in the near future for me to get LTE. The new phones don't really appeal to me. Other then LTE, the 3D hardware wise isn't that far behind.

I have been using the ROM almost since it came out. I flashed a few here and there. I have been searching the forums for the past few days looking for a replacement ROM.

To my surprise..Nothing even compares to the pure awesomeness of this ROM.
I mite get bashed for saying this, but some of the newer ROMs looks great, but is seems most have this not working and that not working.

Hey if anyone has any suggestions on a great ROM that has everything working, please let me know.

Hi. I just got a replacement Evo since my old one died (fingers crossed that they don't find out it was rooted). I have it rooted and s-offed, it works fine, until I go to flash Synergy RLS1 and then I keep getting process.android.acore stopped working and com.android.phone stopped working over and over again. Any advice?

Edit: Trying just a cache/dalvik wipe right now and reflashing. We'll see how that goes. I've read somewhere that if you delete your contacts (Settings –> Applications –> Manage Applications –> All –> “Contacts Storage” –> Click on “Clear Data”) can fix it, so I guess I'll try that if reflashing won't work.

Edit2: The deleting contacts thing worked for the acore error, but then I couldn't open certain programs. Did a full factory reset, reflash and everything seems to be going well now.

For everyone getting stuck at the white htc evo 4g screen. it happened to me twice after full wipes and clearing my sdcard. What finally fixed it was formatting the sdcard from windows and then i followed this guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1158993 to partition the card. Not only did the install take a lot shorter time, it booted right up .

+1 When this ROM first came out I couldn't run it either because of not being partitioned...I am now and it runs fine and DTa2sd beta4 works well...depending on amount of apps I had to move dalvik to SD...getting low memory notification

I just reflashed this rom after almost a year of playing around with many, many other roms and I must say its super smooth. This was the first rom I flashed on my EVO when I rooted and it always ran laggy for me. I think the difference here is the availability of ca1ne's underworld kernel. I think it is making a huge difference, not one hiccup all day. Currently using smartassV2 with deadline i/o scheduler, 245/998. If you want a stable one check this out. Thanks again for this rom, its still beast imo. :thumbup:

You mean Ca1nes Underworld kernel? It's in the Original Android Dev section for the evo 4g.
