I'm using this on my Tmobile USA s7 edge. Is there something blocking certain websites on the stock browser and chrome? I've verified the websites work from my home computer but when I try on the phone either by wifi or data, they say it won't connect.

This root method will reset your fingerprints and lockscreen security it will also fix fingerprint issue this should help with issues of not recognizing your fingerprint after you root. The binary is also updated Version 2.81 Stable

This root method will reset your fingerprints and lockscreen security it will also fix fingerprint issue this should help with issues of not recognizing your fingerprint after you root. I had to modify the latest SuperSu to get root to stick on SuperSU 2.82.
Here is a what I did:
The new supolicy from 2.82 Version was causing root not to stick. So I used the supolicy from 2.81 Version. I modded the SuperSu.apk to ingnore the supolicy not being 2.82 Version So you wont get asked to update the SuperSU binaries.
The SU binary is updated to 2.82 and all other files.
If you delete SuperSU apk dont reinstall it from playstore use the one in Above zip

Hey jrkruse is thier a way i can get use this rom with out the eng.boot installed? ( i have tmobile s7edge) i tried to install the Verizon version that doesnt have the eng.boot and just kept bootlooping

I came from Rooted Marshmallow.

1. Backed up my Internal Storage
2. Restarted my phone into Download mode
3. Flashed the AP, BL, CP, and CSC for G935TUVS4BQC1
4. Phone booted, went through the setup and skipped adding a Google Account after verifying the previous Google Account that was on the phone.
5. Once on Homescreen, restarted back into Download mode.
6. Flashed Nougat_S7_Edge_EngBoot.tar.md5 in AP
7. Booted phone and ran root.bat from S7Root_Unroot_SU_2_79_Simply_Root_Flashfire.zip
8. After phone rebooted and was rooted, opened up Flashfire and followed OP's screenshots on installing the custom Rom.
9. Went through Aroma installer. Kept it as T-Mobile, no SystemUI tweaks (although I'm sure you could), couple S8 Apps, no hosts file so I can install AdAway myself.
10. Phone booted up fine, went through setup and added my account, etc.
11. Installed Snapchat and logged in since it won't let you once the phone is rooted.
12. Rerooted the phone with Nougat_S7_Edge_EngBoot.tar.md5
13. Used the modified Root from here.
14. Used MyBackupPro (or any other freezer) to freeze most (if not all) T-Mobile-related services/apps such as WiFi calling, nag apps, etc.

....annnnnd it was good to go! My AT&T sim was recognized upon initial boot and the AP's automatically switched over. No call/text/mms/data issues whatsoever. It's probably the best my phone's ever ran since I bought it. Now I'm just eagerly waiting for Xposed Framework to get updated to Nougat.

Curious if anyone else is having network drop issues? I installed this on my T-Mo S7E. When the phone screen turns off data drops and I have to manually reconnect it for data to work. I do not have any issues while on WiFi.

I've never experienced what you described with my rooted T-Mo S7E on this ROM. Is your phone in power saving mode? Background network usage stops if it is...

I've got the same question. I just installed the ROM on my TMO S7 Edge. I did not reinstall root. However, even without root, AirWatch MDM (which I have to use for work) considers the device "compromised". I suspect it's because of the eng.boot (and it not passing safetynet). If we don't need root is there anything we can do with a TMO variant to get it to pass safetynet?

*EDIT: You are correct. There is no AP portion of the firmware in the OP, but it's here in the forum. Just search for the stock firmware.

The way I installed the ROM:

• Download all necessary files from OP and QC1 stock firmware from the forum.
• Clean install QC1 firmware in Odin.
• Enable USB debugging in developer options
• ADB push the AP file from QC1 zip to internal phone storage (this takes a while as it's 4gb).
• ADB push ROM to sdcard.
• Follow instructions for root using the latest root batch file from a few posts back. This installs the latest SuperSu and fixes some issues with root.
• Continue from step 5 in the quoted section under "Install Instructions From Nougat Firmware."

Yo I got a quick Q that's I should probably already know the answer to... I successfully got everything up and going and have been using rom for some weeks now. It's boss. Thank you! Anyways. I want to redo the install process on my already rooted and rom'd phone so that I can start the phone off without any Google apps or the s8 apps (I'm just not a fan of them)
So my question is: What steps do I need to take to go back through the Aroma Installation process?

Just reflash via flashfire and don't choose s8 or Google stuff also choose wipe

I'll need to go through re rooting as well right?
I forgot the exact process... I've slept atleast twice since then.
I'd be able to do it without asking if all the original links from OP still worked.
