[ROM][T][OFFICIAL] LineageOS 20 for Xiaomi Mi 9 SE [grus]

Hello all. First, I want to thanks all the contributors for this amazing rom. I’ve bought recently a Mi 9 SE and put lineageos on it. I’ve not tested it before on the stock rom, but is there a way to make the vibrations stronger ? I nearly can’t feel them. Am I the only one with the issue ?
I had a Mi 8 before, also with lineageos, and I didn’t have that problem.

Hello guys,

I've switched from an unofficial version of Lineage OS to this one. have installed the ROM with the official recovery for automatic updates. Followed the instructions for installation exactly. Everything went smooth with no issues. But I can't install Magisk through side load. It just gives me an error. But the Google pay still shows that the phone is rooted, even though I don't have root.

I even tried to wipe everything and repeat the steps for flashing the ROM without Magisk, just the Gapps. Google pay and other banking apps still say the phone is rooted.

Could someone help me please to either install Magisk, or to get rid of root completely?

I just had similar issues with some banking apps, after installing official LOS 20 to my wife's grus.
This tutorial did the trick(I only had to change ro.debuggable to 0):

EDIT: Her banking apps working fine with the fix, but Google pay refuses to add a card for contactless payment

I am still struggling with initial installation of Magisk. Sideloading doesn't work for me, it gives an error.

for me, I went to LOS recovery, selected apply update from adb --and then ädb sideload magisk.zip , selected install any way from LOS recovery and no issue

Ok, if anybody has problems flashing magisk: to patch boot.img in Magisk you need to take the boot.img from the ROM file itself, not from the website!

I cannot say for sure, but noticed, that when you dirty flash, there might arise problems, that are not part of the new Rom. It is always better to follow the procedure, written by the author. Also, if you want easily get weekly updates, you will also need the official lineageOS recovery.

yes I tried dirty flash over @kyasu rom, this does not work. Would've been comfortable I thought.

Switched from Unofficial Lineage20. For now there are too many bugs for saily usage, on comparasion to Unofficial builds:

1. Google Pay/bank app with nfc doesn't work event with changes on builds.prop, also with magisk and mods MagiskHide Propos Config, Universal SaftyNet Fix
2. Android auto sometimes work sometimes not
3. Screen sometimes is to big for display
4. Device during call is very low, sometimes i need to use speaker
5. Remote screen not working

But is nightly i know and thank you for your work and wait for next builds!

Edit: Both points 2 and 3 are fixed after flash today's build! Awesome!

Thank you for this great ROM!
This brings life back to my phone.
Does anyone have the issue that Vibration is super low?
I tried to put in to max in the settings but I miss every call that I get when its on vibrate only.
I dont thinkt that its hardware related, with MIUI it worked as intended.

But GCam is lag when preview. How can I fix it?

I'm having issues with the camera within banking apps: in one, it doesn't scan the QR code from my laptop screen to log in. In another, it doesn't scan my passport to verify my identity. Since it's two different apps from two different banks, I expect the issue to be in the camera API. I upgraded to the latest version, but same result. in order to flash this rom it is required the super_empty.img file. Is thes going do delete all user data? (I would not like that as my backup of whatsapp is always a mess.)
