Ehh sorry to say but Camera performance just isn't there with this ROM :crying:

I had an issue with the camera only once. I downloaded the application "Camera restart" from the play Store and assigned it as a shortcut to a long-press on the back button. This way if the camera ever has issues connecting, I just long-press my back button and the camera starts working again. Most 4.4.2 ROMs have camera issues.

I may have to give this rom a try. The camera issue has me on the fence though. Are any of you experiencing headphone jack issues. I know it has been common on many 4.4.2 roms where you plus in the jack and you can not hear the music. Easy fix is to play the music first then plug in the jack but I was just curious if the dev may have fixed the issue.

Either way I may still flash as I have ran gummy roms on my galaxy nexus and loved it.

In my [limited] testing .. I have NOT had the headphone issue with this ROM [yet]! :good:

no update since the 15th .. hopefully it hasn't died off [for this device] :crying:

Nightlife are not being posted on XDA; check the link in the OP for the original development thread for this ROM. The DEV has been pretty regular with updating this ROM. Then again its pretty much AOSP so there aren't too many changes which can be expected.

Never mind, I found it. Thanks. Looking good so far. Had few FCS on settings but will see.

I tried to install without wiping data, but I couldn't kill the gummy setup wizard.

So i let market installed all my apps. I also tried wiping everything, ran setup wizard, and then restore data partition, and wizard wouldn't quit.

Heads up notifications are not opening in floating window, even though I have the option enabled. Anyone else experiencing this?

I don't think headsup is like Hover, it just brings up the small window to either answer the phone in case of Slim Implementation. I actually was watching a show on the phone, and incoming phone, so I answered it, and once I hung up, movie started again where it was paused. Pretty neat, but it doesn't pop up for any other notifications such as texts or appointment in my case.

Thanks for the reply, there actually is an option to open headsup notifications in floating windows in the settings menu. Maybe it's just broken??

    Gummy ROM is made for speed, stability and to stay as closely in line with AOSP as possible while still supporting a large amount of devices and giving you all of the features you love. It isn’t slowed down by features you’ll never use nor is it so slim as to be just another AOSP build.*

    Features:

    * New base built from AOSP
    * Status Bar Mods
    * Hardware Key Mod
    * Many Wallpapers
    * Performance Control
    * Application Permission Controls
    * Carrier Label Options
    * Lock clock widget
    * QuickSettings
    * Theme Manager

    Device Specific:

    Whats not working...
    * misc QuickSettings buttons may still have issues (let us know what you find)
    * what else (you tell us)

    ChangLOG:

    Please review out Gerrit instance to keep up with changes daily...

    Instructions for installations:

    1. Download ROM
    2. Download Gapps
    3. Push to sdcard
    4. Reboot Recovery
    5. Wipe Data and Cache
    6. Install ROM
    7. Install Gapps
    8. Reboot System

    Contributions:

    - Thank you to Cyanogenmod for device and hardware repositories. Without this, porting * * Gummy to QCOM devices would have been nearly impossible.
    - Thank you to Google for the best source code.
    - Androidfilehost.com for hosting our file servers!

    Vey inclined to try this ROM; can anyone confirm that the camera is working flawlessly?

    Been trying this out all morning and haven't had any issues with the camera.

    To the dev: Very nice and smooth ROM. There is still enough custom stuff here to tweak enough and make people happy. With xposed, you can make this your own ROM. Nice job.
