GUMMY

As of October 9, 2014 Team Gummy has disbanded. The final M4 release can be found here:
M4 Final Release

Gummy ROM is made for speed, stability and to stay as closely in line with AOSP as possible while still supporting a large amount of devices and giving you all of the features you love. It isn’t slowed down by features you’ll never use nor is it so slim as to be just another AOSP build.*

Features:

* New base built from AOSP
* Status Bar Mods
* Hardware Key Mod
* Many Wallpapers
* Performance Control
* Application Permission Controls
* Carrier Label Options
* Lock clock widget
* QuickSettings
* Theme Manager

Device Specific:

Whats not working...
* misc QuickSettings buttons may still have issues (let us know what you find)
* what else (you tell us)

ChangLOG:

Please review out Gerrit instance to keep up with changes daily...

Instructions for installations:

1. Download ROM
2. Download Gapps
3. Push to sdcard
4. Reboot Recovery
5. Wipe Data and Cache
6. Install ROM
7. Install Gapps
8. Reboot System

Contributions:

- Thank you to Cyanogenmod for device and hardware repositories. Without this, porting * * Gummy to QCOM devices would have been nearly impossible.
- Thank you to Google for the best source code.
- Androidfilehost.com for hosting our file servers!

Hdmi out work on this? My understanding is that it doesn't work on any aosp builds and probably never will? Is this safe to assume?

I have both. Are you on a T-Mobile Note 2? Maybe try flashing a modem.

No. Download SELinux switcher from play store and set mode to permissive. Then it will recognize the modem. (You'll notice under about phone modem is unknown until it's set to permissive, then the modem will show up normally).

-------

Other thing I'm noticing is I'm not syncing any of my accounts. Ideas?

Clean ass ROM!

Everything is working for me.

The only major problem I have is the red sensor light stays on after a phone call. Thus, draining the battery significantly.

However, a work around is rebooting the phone every time you make a phone call.
Which sucks :(

Are there any audio tools like Boeffla, voodoo, etc that work for boosting the volume? If not any kernels available that work for this clean rom? I am using noozoxide but need that boost. Also this rom is on point, no problems with anything so far!

    I'd like to change the boot animation, but can't rename, delete, or replace the current one in System/Media. I've done this many times in the past, and I have all the correct permissions for both the current and new boot animations (RW-R-R), as well as the parent folder. But neither ES File Explorer or ROM Toolbox Pro can do anything with the current (stock Gummy) boot animation.

    Does anyone have a suggestion?

    Also, gotta say that this ROM is super-stable, lightweight, and fast! It's also beautiful.

    UPDATE: Never mind, I figured it out. Instead of trying to replace the stock Gummy boot animation in System/Media, I put my new animation into Data/Local. That overrode the Gummy one.

    On a side note: This is, in my opinion, by far the best and most up-to-date ROM for the TMO Galaxy Note 2. But you can almost hear the crickets in this thread. Where did everyone go?

    I do not see that option. Where is it exactly? Can you please provide a link?

    You have to go here: http://download.chainfire.eu/282

    Download the latest zip file.
    Install it in CWM, Philz Touch or TWRP.
    Reboot.
    Google Play Store>Download SuperSU>Done.
