@metterschling . i know, but video recording doesnt work in this current build and i wrote about it.
installed it yesterday night with opengapps magisk 18 and migrate backup. booted up with one hiccup but than worked just fine. i have not tested everything. but as i dont use my tab for everything like pictures and dont even have a sim in, thats fine for me. fingerprint works better than before. thanks for the update.
its so awesome to see this old device on a newer FW. i will not feel the need to update the hardware anytime soon as long as i got Linage on it.

If you take a look at the 4 omx reversions in my frameworks_av fork, your video recording will work too.

I dont find any reverted commits in your repo
Anyway I have treble related issue, not with framework
Probably those commits break something on some devices, maybe on devices with old vendor stuff, but definitely not on s2.
They definitely fix video recording on my builds for all variants of the s2.
From sources I sent you. I dont remember exact date.

LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community
Requirements:
- treble supported twrp 3.2.0+
- backup everything before install
- wipe data before upgrading from LineageOS 14.1 or stock rom
Install:
- Flash zip in compatible TWRP
- Don't forget about gapps (arm 8.1)
Google apps should be installed via recovery immediately after installing ROM.
If you reboot into ROM before installing Google apps, you must factory reset and then install them, otherwise expect crashes.

microphone doesn't work in sound recorder. but works in calls. I think I broke mic in nougat builds, so I need more time to find out the issue. Also I haven't noticed any issues with 3d games and benchmarks.5Changelog to build 0531:
the goal of this build was simple: to make base platform as stable as possible.
- kernel has been rebuild from scratch based on latest samsung sources.
- device config has been revised and almost all reworked.
- fixed offline charging.
- tuned brightness settings
- used another fingerprint hal
- fixed gps on lte models
- probably something else
But I couldn't fix microphone and I know it's my own bug which I made in nougat. And I'm sure I fixed it before, but forgot to push to git. I hope I will find solution to it some day.
