Just checked and the microphone doesn't work. You're right. But it's not something important for me in the tablet. The camera works fine... Anything else you might want to hear about?

Thanks for the confirmation. It's my son's tablet and he uses the mic with voice changing apps, so that's a must. That's why I'm on stock rom for now...

For me, I'm on an SM-T815Y. It works along with the microphone but it's pretty quiet.
