Use official twrp, orientation bug has long since been fixed in 810 and 815.
I'm talking about aroma touch oriantation ? Are you sure! I don't install Gapps everytime but I'm going to update it today after giving shot for LOS15.1

Aroma is incompatible with all twrps above 2.7 because its dev has stopped developing. I can confirm it does rotate itself on 810, but I find that creating a gapps-config file is much easier even if you only flash gapps occasionally.

About the latest build, I look forward to testing it later today. Thanks, bonuzzz!

I've been running the t810 build 0427 for only 3 hours, but I'm blown away by how much snappier it is compared with nougat built from official repos! No doubt the exynos5433 kernel has something to do with that since the gts2 kernel is bloated as hell.

The only thing that sticks out to me is that the recent apps tiles are black in the tile view, but when you tap on one to open its app, its content appears normally in full screen and the app works fine. Other than that, I'm very grateful to you bonuzzz for putting together a build that's stable enough to use for at least basic functions. I do hope you will also have some time last next week to push your changes to github, I'd just like to learn what you did and why to make it this good this quickly. It's way too early for me to compile my own builds regularly, but if I do, I'll make my own thread.

For now, I'm rocking 0427 and I'm very satisfied with it! :D

Nice job on the ROM, bonuzzz. One issue I'd like to report, though, is that the microphone isn't working properly with the latest build. Most everything else seems to be working, although some apps (such as the Play Store) have blurred borders as if the app thinks it's on a 16:9 screen.

Many thanks for the work you've done for the community!

Play store running in 16:9 with blurred backgrounds is something on google's side, not developer's. I was also surprised at first (due to it looking kinda dumb), but I noticed the same behaviour in a stock galaxy tab A, as well as on a touchwiz rom t710.

Ah, that's disappointing. It looks like something similar but less obvious happens with other apps, including the LineageOS settings. The edges aren't used in it, and you can only scroll if you swipe around in the central region of the screen. Has there been any work on fixing it, or are we stuck with it for the foreseeable future?

At least in the case of the play store, there is absolutely nothing that can be done about it. Even if you install an older play store build or try to reset it, being a server side change it will come back eventually. I can't talk about LOS' apps, since I am not familiar with it, nor do I use the ROM right now.

Thanks so much for releasing this @bonuzzz! Looking forward to understanding how you've managed to fix all the issues :)

Also, any chance you can share your local manifest file so I can see what all you're using to build?

Wonderful work. Installed on my T810 and enjoying it.
Other bug in my tablet is charging screen freezing the tablet. I have to charge it when the tablet is on.
