[ROM][T810/T815] AOSP/LineageOS 7.1 Nougat || 2017/01/28

i installed samsung official release nougat 7.0 (germany) on T810 all worked...bluetooth,microphone,adoptable storage (no more corrupted sd Card), fingerprint sensors ,camera -----better than custom rom ...all apps stable.. . superfast i was able to root iT810...problem solved for this device...try it yourself u will not regret it

To install this ROM, can i just use twrp or must i use Odin? Twrp complained, but maybe my zip was broken.

For some reason twrp complained about the zip file. Do i have to install it via Odin?

But i assume the lineageos ROM can be installed by twrp? So Samsung does something to there ROM to make it uninstallable by twrp?

Quick feedback: updated to nighly from may 2nd

+ glypmpse and gmaps don't crash anymore (*nice*)
- normal (new) browser crashes (do not care, using chrome)
+ bt WORKS (tested with headphones which did not pair for a long time)
- (most bothering and reason to go back to previous nightly) : sdcard not mounted anymore or somewhere else so that apps like mort player did not have access to it anymore

before: sdcard was mounted to /storage/XXXX-YYYY and /mnt/runtime/(read|write)XXXX-YYYY with type fuse
now: sdcard only to be found /mnt/media_rw/XXXX-YYYY with type vfat


Will upgrade later again and pull details IF anyone is interested

I had same problem with SD card on 02.05.17
None of file managers shown sd only default file manager shows it.
Are you on 25.4.17 ?
does your play store shows app updates ?
I was not getting any app updates on 25.4, so I reverted back to 18.04

Does HW+ work in Mxplayer ?

2. i was on 25.4 - not sure about updates - think i got some. But after upgrading to 2.5 i got a bunch that's for sure.

So now i try to find a solution to get my /storage/XXXX-YYYY back , just by mount --bind my apps still don't have access . Any Ideas ?

Same on my device,
Upgraded to 2.5 and got lots of updates, didnt update any, reverted back to 25.4 and there were none.
Then reverted to 18.4 and all updates show up again.
I will stay on 18.4 for now, hopefully SD and google play updates issues will be fix on 9.5 update.

There is a new commit for Sdcard so next build will fix this issue

Hm, fix adjusts fstab with encryptable option only, did not find anything else in related fixes .. so *fingers crossed*.

After this commit Sdcard issue is fixed in RR.

Love to go back to this.. Very simple and clean. But... Deal breaker is Bluetooth. I use it way too much to not have it.

Well - BT is working as i mentioned.
BUT:

Not sure whats going on - woke up this morning (late) , device dead - power drained, will have to keep an eye on it - and use a different morning alarm clock

LOL... Didn't see bt on your list.... I'll take a shot again this weekend. I'm very confident in my backups and ability to switch roms almost at will now.

Might be better to have a backup, i just noticed i lost contacts .. just don't know when. So nandroid restore and try again

Update: went better this time, direkt update from 25.4 (nandroid) to 9.5 - contacts still there. Only wlan access pw seem to be lost, restore via tb xml , all good

Any updates on fingerprint scanner? Other devices have it in LOS.
Also I just tried the 09-May nightly and BT still crashes when disabling it.

Perfect rom - thx to the maintainer! Have no issues with BT and I don't use fingerprint.
The only thing I noticed so far is sometimes a high battery drain - anyone else?

Still seeing crashes after disabling BT so logged it in https://jira.lineageos.org/browse/BUGBASH-620 (Disabling bluetooth with paired device results in LOS crash/restart).

Hi, I've same problem. No fingerprint scanner in option; I try to configure on first start-up but sensor didn't recognize my finger...sensor not work? It's only my problem?
