Hey, it'll be up soon.
I decided to spend more time on the OMX codec issues before releasing a new build and I can happily say that camcorder works now, so the camera is actually fully functional :)
Video decoding using the Exynos hardware codecs is still broken though - under investigation.
Thanks, that's great news.

My Lollipop Nightmare..

Today I bought a Tab S2 T815C in Hong Kong to replace my venerable Tab Pro 8.4, after I returned my idiotic Note 7 that I had bought last month. No, mine didn't overheat or explode, but I had endless connectivity problems with it that Samsung was not willing to fix or provide me with a proper solution/replacement) and I was starting get to hate it already. Anyway, it's a blessing its gone back to Samsung because of the battery fiasco and I got refunded.

But immediately to my shock and utter disbelief, Samsung's firmware to my T815C is Lollipop 5.0.2 with NO UPGRADE PATH on this region! Yes, they are still selling the Tab S2 everywhere here on all retail outlets with Lollipop, and that's it. I contacted Samsung's service center here immediately that confirmed me there are no plans at this point to ever update the firmware to Marshmallow (..Nougat even less). I can't return this Tab at the shop I bought otherwise I would do it instantly.

If I have been slowly giving up on Samsung, this really does it. Last thing I will ever buy from them, period. Anyway, rant aside, after all day reading and researching, seems I also can't get CM13 flashed unless I first flash a stock Marshmallow firmware, that of course, I don't have nor will have any time soon. And flashing Marshmallow firmwares from other regions which I tried already (unlocked T815C firmwares to my T815C) also failed consistently.

So at this point I have done nothing yet to the Tab, not even root.. just sits at stock 5.0.2. My simple and plain question is, can I try (and how) to directly flash this custom AOSP ROM on my Tab to test it, or no way? This Tab with Touchwiz Lollipop is the s...t from hell:(

Thanks much for the input.. my frustration at Samsung is sheer total.

Right! I'm trying to find a way to get this ROM flashed into my hardware so I can test it and collaborate....................

Ranting against Samsung for several paragraphs does NOTHING to accomplish that goal. I've tried to help you but now I've given up. You need to go back to the Q&A section and find a way to get the stock ROM installed before coming here.

Any chance of making this work on an 817W? I have my device rooted and its on 6.1.1 Ofiicial at the moment. It wants me to update OTA an official update. I can't flash that it because I am running TWRP, but I can't seem to find the update to manually flash. So it wants me to flash every day pretty much.

Figured if I am at it, maybe I would try to see if there were a way to flash 7.0 on it!

Your device has different processor and GPU
You can flash stock recovery and update your tab

I just uploaded my latest CyanogenMod 14 builds with working video recording for T810 and T815 :)
These will probably be the last 7.0 builds as I am now working on 7.1 and there's good progress so far.
Nougat is getting in shape on this tablet at last.. I personally think the new splitscreen and free form floating windows (enabled in the latest build) are pretty nice.

I appreciate the work the you and the other devs are doing to bring us the latest versions but I've given up for the time being and gone back to the stock unrooted 6.0.1 Cellular South ROM. While I love multi-tasking, when it come to tablets with their small screens, I prefer to use multiple devices rather than trying to squeeze multiple task onto a single screen. (I've been known to sit in my local pub with four devices in front of me so that I can watch football, auto racing and read a book, all at the same time.) I'd rather lose split screen and "floating windows, than lose upper 5ghz wifi channels and apps like Netflix and Hulu.

It's smooth and stable ! Thanks for your time. Everything seems to work very well except what you already mentioned in OP. I saw something related to fingerprint ( in your source) is it possible to get fingerprint works on AOSP based rom ?

Hi, great ROM and good to get Nougat so early. After some help to get Netflix working, worked OK with first release (01.09.2016) but not working with the two updates (29.09 and 26.10). I can log in and choose a file but when I selecte play stuck with the loading screen. Tried all the normal fixes (wiping app data, clean reinstall etc.) but without success. Any help would be greatly appreciated
