Cannot flash Zip with TWRP

I'm currently running a stock rooted build of 5.1.1 with TWRP installed as the recovery. I downloaded the latest daily build, copied it to the device, did a factory reset, and tried to flash the ROM. I'll attach a screenshot of the error.

Here's a new build with some experimental configs and a potential fix for the SMS issue:
https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24591020540823449

I need someone to test this build with cellular data and especially see whether or not the SMS bug is still there (messages being sent, but the error message shows it's not).
Will give it a try tomorrow also and report. Quick question.. is this error only using the built-in SMS client or if using a different app, the problem goes away? Usually I use TextraSMS or QKSMS on other hardware and ROMs and is always flawless :)

Great job on this ROM!
What is the advisable gapp package to install with the ROM?? could not quite spot it on the thread....perhaps a bit blind, could only see that some people are using A-gapps

ThanX

What do i modify in order to be able to install this on the T715? they are the exact same device except for the screen size.
Get the sources, reconfigure kernel so you support the correct hardware for the T715 and compile. (for one, the display panel is different, not only size, but also orientation and drivers)

The T7 and T8 series devices are different devices. The T710 is a wifi only version of the T715, just as the T810 is a wifi only version of the T815. However, the T710 is not a smaller version of the T810. Most hardware is the same, but the most crucial one, the display, isn't. Installing T7 on T8 and vice verse will result in a blank screen as each image doesn't support the display of the other. When they would, the displays wouldn't be aligned with the touchscreen on 'the other'.

When they would be the same, do you think we would have issues with compiling an image for the T710 without a device at hand to test it on?

Maybe you need to update your device to marshmallow first, before flashing the new recovery and ROM. I am not quite sure. As with other CM13 based ROMs coming from Lollipop, you may need to first do an official OTA update to MM (or find a compatible stock MM ROM), then root it with cf autoroot via Odin, and then finally get the CM13 flashed..

Unfortunately, I have the T817T (T-Mobile) and they have not yet released Marshmallow for it yet. So there is no OTA yet.

I have been told the T817T is the same hardware as the T815 and all the Lollipop ROMs worked fine. I wonder if I can flash the T815 Marshmallow ROM via ODIN. Does ODIN check the device ID before it flashes?

Hi, I was trying this build, but can't boot. It's stucked at Samsung's logo with red text "KERNEL IS NOT SEANDROID ENFORCING". Any clue about this?

Is it possible to get fingerprint working ! I mean technically. Because Samsung didn't give much information about it.
And is the kernel enforcing ?

And thanks for your work it is really helpful and would like to use CM on my tab and you made it is possible.

And general Question about the overheat. when charge or play 3D games ? (For testers)

First feedback..
I can see that camera app has wrong size compare to tab screen. button not clearly appear (Picture)

And when tab boot there is warning "kernel ... seandroid ....." As Well as recovery boot

It is pretty amazing how the rom is . Fast , stable and most of issues solved.
Backlight is working as I wished! you have option to turn off the button lights.

Thanks dev.

anyone got this working on t817t? ive been trying a few different combos with TWRP but none have work. we had cm12.1 that was flashable to t817t as long as we had 815 TWRP... I now get status code 7 I believe it due to updater scrip. would anyone be able to point me in the right direction
