Hello. Came back to report that the ROM still didn't flash. My log file is the same as Bakarios so didn't post. Please look into it and TWRP. Cheers!

Actually I'm getting some help from the team Evolution X on Discord, so please give them sometime on this, they're trying to find the problem since yesterday.
It could take an hour or a day, but please DON'T download the build from my Google Drive and wait until all this will be solved.
You see, once it will be solved, you'll be able to have Evolution X 4.4 on this tablet without any big issue, and I'm as excited as you about that!.
Wait and see.

Yes I'm trying to fix the problems, and this time instead of porting Evolution X from Xiaomi Mi 6 I'm porting from the OnePlus 3, which has exactly the same CPU as this tablet (SD 820).
Let me repack my system folder to system.new.dat.br and it's done.
Please don't ETA, It'll be ready tomorrow I hope..... if it works this time and don't cause problems during installation...

I know you're impatient about getting this ROM, but unfortunately I didn't get a lot of help at the team Evolution X, and they won't help either, since they have very strict rules about the quality of their ROMs, so it's clear I won't get anymore help from them.
I was trying to port another ROM, Paranoid Android (Quartz 3) from the OnePlus 3, but I can't repack its system folder I modified because there's no file "file_contexts" and I can't find it in boot.img, maybe because it's a strange ROM (it always was, so).
But the first problem before the ROM itself is the recovery, TWRP, who you know it didn't work and even broke yours, so I'm working on this, and this time instead of porting it on a Windows computer, I'm trying from a Linux computer I have with Fedora 32 and with another method.
So what I'm trying right now is to port TWRP from the Galaxy Tab S2, which has official support and even has the latest TWRP 3.4 released a couple of days ago, to this tablet.
I'll keep you informed in my TWRP thread and I'll test by myself before releasing anything.
I think for the moment this thread about Evolution X will be closed, since I don't think I'll be able to repack the system and test..

@JordanBlue thank you for spending your time working on this device anyhow.
Maybe because this rom is semi-dead, I can't repack it to make it work and I don't want people to face problems again because they're not beta-testers?.
Aw man I had got my hopes up... but still thanks a lot for trying to make a ROM for this good-for-nothing Tab. I'll make sure to research if the future Tab I buy has good ROM support because the stock Samsung ROMs are always bloated.
Thanks everyone who did this. Good to know some people are still keeping this tablet alive. Right now I'm on linege 17 but mic doesn't work and only two speakers work. Besides that it works fine. I hope they get it working because a fully working tablet would be nice. Edit no palm rejection
