• If you are experiencing issues logging in, we moved to a new and more secure software and older account passwords were not able to be migrated. We recommend trying to reset your password, then contacting us if there are issues.
  • Nearly done! Migration cleanup is mostly done. There are a small number of issues left that we continue to work on, but all the heavy lifting is done. We still would love to hear feedback over at this thread and also check out the new XDA app! Thanks and we hope you enjoy the new forums, and thanks for your support of XDA <3

I wanted to bring you guys some AOKP releases with other mods and code changes to the Galaxy S4.

A Big Thanks Goes to the AOKP Team & CyanogenMod Team. Without their source this wouldn't be possible. Go thank them, tweet them, and donate to them. Also a HUGE thanks to mrgoat for the hosting!!!

***Read and use the FAQ/Q & A thread HERE for non-development related stuffs!***

» Installation is simple:
  • Make a nandroid backup before flashing anything to your device. If coming from another ROM or another major AOKP version, wipe data (Factory reset) in recovery. Always do this before reporting any bugs.
  • Make sure you're using the latest CWM or TWRP
  • Flash ROM
  • Flash Google Apps (GAPPS) from HERE
  • Reboot

» Check Changelogs on G+
» Also Check merged commits on AOKP's Gerrit

» Downloads, mirrors, and MD5s can be found HERE

» AOKP Gerrit
» AOKP on Github
» Task650 Source

We greatly appreciate your contribution in the form of code, or PayPal donations.
» Donations to task650
» Donations to AOKP AOKP.co

Enjoy!

HOW TO USE THE OTA UPDATER

1.) Open the AOKP OTA in Settings

2.) Select settings

3.) Check the "Install files after ROM" checkbox in order to flash the gapps package
at the time of the ROM flash

3.) Use a file explorer to move your Gapps package to sdcard/aokp.ota/after-rom/ folder so that it will flash at the time of the ROM flash

4.) In AOKP OTA/Settings make sure to uncheck the CMW Recovery checkbox if you are using TWRP Recovery. If you don't, the ROM and gapps will not flash automatically and it will just reboot to recovery and not flash the ROM/Gapps.

5.) Done. Now just enjoy the ease of OTA Updating. ;)

My Kernel Settings:
Governor = Intellidemand
Scheduler = row
Min Mhz = 189
Max Mhz = 1890

Voltages-
UV'd -50mv across the board

If you're using the built in Kernel settings remember to hit the menu button and enable SET ON BOOT!

Pretty simple. ;)

whats the best way to switch between roms?

i like the way my rom is setup, any way to backup quicky the rom, then flash this rom? want to try it
This isnt an android basics thread. This is a ROM development thread for this rom. Please go ask these type of questions in the Q & A section as it has nothing to do with this ROM.

Awesome!! I'm getting tired of running stock! I can finally run Task650 AOKP. I left my gs3 in April and was missing your ROM. Will be flashing once I get some free time!
