I usually turn off AudioFX on roms. I haven't noticed the behavior on this rom, but that's one thing you could try

After monumental mess ups with flashing roms on my kindle i thought i'd ask do i just flash the rom and gapps through twrp and nothing more? and which gapps is it 7.0 or 7.1? TIA

Just noticed when my device is in standby it disconnects from the wifi even though it is set to always on in settings. is there something ive overlooked?

I am unable to get past the Welcome to you Amazon Tate screen. It either loops back to Welcome screen or soft reboots to same or welcome screen ?

Nope. I think the latest release with working camera was a 6.0 one

One question, is this rom capable of running FGO? How much of Cyanogen mod it employs?

I just installed it, and as soon as I picked "set up as new" I was able to swipe down from the top and enable wifi

I tried like 25 times, and you have to be really quick to swipe down from the top and enable wifi.

i am stuck in the start screen. installation went well, but after "lets go" i can choose fresh device or copy from another device, but when chosen i am stuck in that screen(s), i dont get further in starting.

I haven't tried the latest yet, but in many roms you have to swipe down from the top and enable wifi to proceed with setup
could take many swipes to get to it

looks as my fault was to install gapps direct after rom.
when i first flashed rom and then booted, i went direct to homescreen.
then reboot recovery and flashing gapps all stayed well.
i am impressed.
The Tate is a real bad piece of junk but with crdroid it works well - much better than with the old remix os.
