My adapter looks exactly like that one. My friend bought us each one for 11¢ each (shipped even!)... I was skeptical about them, but when they arived.. they work perfect. Of course the one linked may not be the same as mine.. but they look to be.
Well, I had bought two of them awhile ago but they weren't otg. Maybe those pictured are. Good luck.

quick question - I have an external sd card but my titanium is on my internal memory. When i do a factory data reset because I'm not on Hammerhead will it wipe my titanium backup files unless I move them onto the external?

Hey,
some time ago my Xoom crashed while trying to read an USB stick. Now everytime I wanna open a file (like photo or movie) in any explorer app, the screen just turns grey and nothing happens. However, tapping the screen will just light the screen again.

Opening a file through an appropiate app still works, but I cannot open through an explorer directly.

I did a full wipe and reinstalled the ROM (Tiamat 2.2.1), but it is still the same. Its an EU Xoom, btw.

Just got my Xoom for Christmas, absolutely loving it.

This is a great rom, I only have one question.

Does anyone know of a way to get rid of homescreens on the stock honeycomb launcher?

When it greys out, it's trying to show a dialog box but a Honeycomb bug is preventing it. Make sure auto rotate is enabled and rotate the Xoom, e.g. landscape to portrait. The dialog box should pop up.

Since I rotated the Xoom it suddenly shows the message (like which app to use). Strange bug, but thanks bro, it worked out.

Ahh the rotation bug strikes again!!! Get used to it. It happens with multiple apps. I have no idea why this does but quickly rotating from landscape to portrait does the trick.

The only way i can do it now is use PC to copy to internal storage first, then copy it from internal storage to sd card usign the Xoom.. am i the only one with this issue?

No Internet connection

Hi,
I have a MZ605 and after updating to Tiamat Moray 2.2.2 I lost 3g connection and it became a MZ601, have no idea why. I could see plenty of signal, it detects my operator name but it doesn't provide any data connection. Any ideas why this is happening?
I see many people very happy with this ROM. I'm a bit frustrated right now :-(
Thanks for any help you can give me.
Guilherme

Btw, I Googled a lot and couldn't find anyone with the same Xoom as mine with this ROM or at least having the same issue.

Hi guys,
Actually I could fix the 3g issue. The APN configuration was wrong so I brought back the nandroid, copied the APN data that was working and used that configuration with Tiamat. VOILA!!
Now my problem is related with the HSDPA icon that doesn't show on the status bar. It always show "no Internet connection".
Any ideas?

Try running chkdsk on the sdcard. Might be something wrong that's causing it to lock up when you try to write to it from your computer. If that doesn't fix it, do you have a memory card reader? If so, take the card out of the Xoom and see if you can access it with the reader on the computer.

    Release Notes

    2.2.2 Release Notes
Yet another update for the rom. Quite a few changes this time.

As usual, this can be flashed cleanly over 2.2.1.

    -- solarnz.

    2.2.1 Release Notes
You are able to flash 2.2.1 over 2.2.0 as it is mainly just bug fixes.

    -- solarnz.

    2.2.0 Release Notes
Boy has it been a busy last 2 weeks.

I have built a build system where we now do the majority of our coding in java. Yep java, not smali.
We now have quick controls, in the status bar settings menu.

This rom is mainly just a feature release. Unfortuantly if you had any issues regarding gmail in hammerhead, you will likely get the same issues in this release.

This rom is also still based of 3.2. Yeah I know I said I would be doing 3.2.2, but things change.
    -- solarnz.

    Version 1.0 - Update 3 (Busybox fix)
    • Fixed the dependency that the ramdisk had on busybox, specifically run-parts.

    Version 1.0 - Update 2 (charging light)
    • Enabled the led charging light in the ramdisk as per popular request.

    Version 1.0 - 3g fix
    • Fixed permissions in /system/bin. This was causing issues with 3g connections.
    • Replaced framework-res.apk with a less modified version. There is no SIP calling and sms now, but the activation screens work now.

    Tips

Automatically installing applications when you flash the rom:
In the zip file, under the directory "data" there is a directory called "tiamat_first_boot_install". You can place all of your apk files that you want installed when you first boot in there. This is useful for applications such as Thumb Keyboard and Titanium Backup
    22
    Moray 2.2 Modpacks
All of these mod packs can be flashed over the top of an existing Moray installation unless advised otherwise.

    Mod pack 3 : Disable OTA notification ONLY FOR 2.2.0 & 2.2.1
    MD5Sum: dd6291c50b815826ec18ee8acf89fa2c

Wow! I can just feel the love in here! Permit me to give just a little perspective on why "theming" has been such a challenge on Honeycomb. First, neither myself or solarnz are themers. I am anything but an artist. So generally, we don't design the icons or other theming aspects. But, before folks start to slam the battery or wifi too hard, keep in mind. These were designed for us by Bignadad himself. He is a legendary themer and even has work in the Android Market. Second, it is not our intent to theme our rom releases. However, we desired to clean up some aspects of the ui while maintaining a stock look and feel. Honeycomb natively has this kinda "Tron" thing going on, as another poster put it. I agree the Tron thing doesn't really work for me either. But the icons we added maintain the stock Tron concept. It's an ongoing adventure for us as well as you guys, the users. The good news is, we are implementing a nightlys folder so these issues can be addressed in real time. As always, thanks for the support! Keep the feedback coming, but try to keep it constructive. If you don't like an icon, post up something you do like. If you don't dig a feature, tell us what you would do to change it. If you find a bug, post up a logcat. Remember, this is a community effort. Everything we do, we do from the aspect of making Xoom the ultimate Honeycomb tablet. The goal ultimately of making Tiamat Xoom the most badass tablet on the planet. Period. Cheers!
