I think I know the answer, but I'd like to hear it from a pro.

I'm still on LJ7 and this is MA6. If upgrading to MA6, can I flash either LJ7 or MA6 ROMs? Will I need to stick to MA6 ROMs? Thanks.
I think you are referring to modems? This ROM will work on the J7 but it could affect things such signal strength etc. I ran it on MA4 with no issues. If you would like to upgrade though, in my thanks section I linked to freeza's stock OTA with a modem in zip format. I used that to upgrade my phone just fine... the short answer is you don't have to upgrade but its recommended for best results... hope I answered your question?

Thanks, Venum. That does. I appreciate it.

Does anyone else see that when you pull down the notification bar it says anti venom but you can still see sprint in the back?. I did come from a clean install. Just wanted to see if anyone else was having this issue. It's not a deal breaker but it does look weird once you notice.

if you navigate to data folder, there is a eri.xml file. you can edit every spot that says sprint to say whatever yu want. that will change the name. if you just put a space it will delete the carrier branding.

it will also change the carrier name on lockscreen.

I also attached a folder which contains a blank eri.xml file. just push to data/ folder and fix permissions. then reboot... :)

Re: [ROM[TeAm VeNuM]] AnTiVeNuM Rom v1 [MA6] [2-25-2013]

When I plug my phone into the aux port my phone would freeze when I hit the volume buttons while listening to music. This seems to happen only when the music effects are set to AC!D. Luckily, the problem did not exist when I switched it to musicFX. Can anyone else confirm this?

Thanks Josh! I actually caught this myself after I posted the ROM... I noted it in the bug list... sorry about that everyone...

Update... I will update the op with Josh's quick fix (it does work just drop in data with root explorer etc and set permissions to owner read and write checked. And group and others read checked and reboot) when I get a chance, stuck in a blizzard at the moment. Sorry for the inconvience everyone...

So even though this is Deodexed you can't change the notification toggles? I just want to make sure because I can't find any such option.

Great job VeNuM! I ran the ROM posted on the team website. Great and super smooth. Glad to see another awesome ROM here on XDA!

Big Venom himself. Glad to see you here! My S2 is still rocking that sexy Ice. I'll give it a go and see if this an issue

PS Your post count on your website is 666. How cool is that!

sorry i can't replicate the issue on this side. I use aux on my head unit for mp3s and pandora and tried them both. No fc's here. I did install from scratch using odin.
