ProjectROM UltraLight Edition

The decrease in version number is due this being an update to the LK8 version of the ROM until I can get everything sorted out with the MA5 update. This runs flawlessly and you should have no issues after a clean install.

About:
  • ProjectROM is an offshoot of a ROM from my EVO 3D days and was inspired to return by scrosler and his CleanROM series.
  • ProjectROM is a slimmed down, tweaked, stock TouchWiz UI Experience
  • Many stock apps have been removed but can be reinstalled by the end user at anytime.
  • It is meant to be small, fast and smooth and geared towards users who want a seamless stock experience without all the bloat from Sprint and Samsung

Features:
  • Based on LK8 again (til i get things with MA5 worked out)
  • Optimized file system and performance tweaks!
  • Latest Perseus Kernel
  • Lidroid 15 Toggles
  • Working 3g/1x MOD
  • Xposed Framework MODs
  • PIE Controls (must be enabled, see below)
  • Per APP DPI Control
  • AC!D Sound MOD
  • Multiwindow MOD for all Apps
  • Busybox with init.d support
  • 4 in 1 Reboot Menu
  • Camera Shutter Sound Toggle
  • Removed Sprint animations
  • Disabled screen on when SMS arrives
  • OTA Notifications disabled
  • Working WiFI tether included
  • Tons more! Can't remember them all

  • This is an update to the LK8 version of the ROM

Version 2.7 - 1/24/13
  • Changed updater-script again
  • Changed the wallpapers
  • Added a more AOSP-like feel to notification bar (nothing fancy)
  • Moved Clear notifications button to top right corner

  • Added call record options back to SecPhone.apk
  • Removed Adobe Flash player but it's attached below
  • Added digitalblur's modified HIddenMenu.apk
  • Removed "Motion" tutorial
  • Decreased file size once again

Version 2.6 - 1/16/13
  • Changed updater-script to be more efficent
  • Updated Perseus kernel again

  • Incorporated AC!D Sound MODs
  • Removed tint from status bar as well
  • Updated Build.prop
  • v2.3 and 2.4 were private releases

Version 2.2 - 12/25/12
  • Updated Perseus Kernel
  • Added Camera Shutter Sound Toggle menu back instead of just turning it off
  • Added security features found on the other variants, mainly "Find my Mobile" menu in Settings/Security (Must have Samsung account)

  • Calender sync fixed
  • Reduced overall file size another 40+ Mb
  • Jump from 1.5 to 2.0 d/t re-base of ROM

How to enable PIE Controls:
  • [*]To enable PIE Controls you must:

    5. Grant SU permissions
    6. Tap "Set TouchService"
    7. Change default setting to 2
    8. Scroll down to PIECONTROL and tap "Activation Area"
    9. Set the Activation Area to your preference.
PLEASE NOTE: PIE Controls do not play nice with MultiWindow. With PIE Controls running, MultiWindow will not work. If you need MultiWindow and not PIE, stop the PIE touchservice and remove the LMT app from /system/app/, reboot recovery, clear dalvik/cache and then reboot. MultiWindow should now work!

Will make a list of apps tomorrow and uninstallable means you can uninstall them. This isn't Scotts rom.

I just peed my pants a little. I've got a rom flashing itch that isn't getting the attention it needs since this is such a new device

As a last resort I placed this in my dropbox folder until I can get things straightened out at AFH. If the download is slow, I apologize. But at least its here now. Sorry it took so damn long. The link is below and in the OP.

    http://dl.dropbox.com/u/22072837/Project_ROM_ULE_1.0.zip

Dropbox dies really quickly, so I mirrored it for you! And this file can be hit hard, because there are no bandwidth limitations.

I will also be making a video of this rom very soon. I'm just not doing very well at all. Today is a very bad day for me.
