Good to hear. Might look into having that application launch at first boot.Thank you very much for your response. HTC Connection did the trick.

Very good idea, like in some other ROMS.Good to hear. Might look into having that application launch at first boot.
Thanks, that was my only hangup with immediately using it. So, I should flash the 17 radio first, and the improvements are baked in to the ROM?I've been testing a new AT&T non-stock ROM. The base is the Europe ROM Tango with Radio 17.5006.08.27.
Before you say AT&T Titans don't work very good with Radio v17, hear me out. I was one of the people who first complained about Radio v17 and AT&T Titans. I've imported the AT&T customization from the stock ROM that brings the signal and speed back to where it should be. It even says 4G instead of H for people who prefer that. The ROM does not contain any of the AT&T default applications, but are downloadable via the marketplace.
As with all of my ROMs, there are no font issues in 8835.
The current ROM in this thread is radio 16 with the AT&T stock as the base build. So all AT&T stock settings and applications are there. Thanks, that was my only hangup with immediately using it. So, I should flash the 17 radio first, and the improvements are baked in to the ROM?
I can tell you now, radio 17 absolutely murders AT&T Titans battery. The current ROM in this thread is radio 16 with the AT&T stock as the base build. So all AT&T stock settings and applications are there.
The new ROM I am currently testing uses radio 17 and the European stock as the base build. This test version has the AT&T settings baked in.
Interesting. I'll keep an eye out for the battery drain. I streamed 2 hours of music on Last.fm to my bluetooth headset. Surfed the internet for about an hour and two email accounts sync every hour. Right now I'm at 60% battery life, which is on par with what I've seen on Radio 16.I can tell you now, radio 17 absolutely murders AT&T Titans battery.
Well I'll get more specific for ya.Interesting. I'll keep an eye out for the battery drain. I streamed 2 hours of music on Last.fm to my bluetooth headset. I will say that I've noticed that IE will murder the battery, but thats happened since custom Tango ROMs.
Have you tried a an unlocked mango ROM? Just curious if you would see any better battery life on that. I always thought battery life got worse after Tango personally. I've been using radio v17 for about a day and haven't seen significant battery loss. But I'm also running it with the AT&T operator package/settings.Well I'll get more specific for ya.
On the stock ROM, I'd get 4 days out of the battery with light usage. 2.5 days average.
Then HSPL happened, I flashed radio 17 and used DFT's ROM for about a month. I always use good practice when flashing; task29 about every other flash (zero out the phone ROM before flashing an OS to it), always hard reset after a flash.
On DFT's ROM I was lucky if I made it past day 1 without charging. I fell into a nightly charging routine and consistently got it to last all day, but if I went out with my friends past midnight, forget about it. Dead phone always.
Within the last three weeks, I finally got around to moving away from DFT's ROM, and I did my best to calibrate my battery while I was at it (you're supposed to charge it while the phone is off, but WP7 won't do that). I flashed someone's ROM under radio 17, no battery improvement whatsoever. I noticed that, disabling cellular data and just living off wifi *significantly improved* the battery life. Obvious? Yes. But my hunch is that radio 17 drains more than it should in the US; it is an EU radio version after all. Used that for about three weeks, then I found a ROM that did radio 16, so I flashed 16, but I still wasn't getting quite 2 days, though I only used it for maybe 4 days before flashing to your stock ROM, then to someone's 7.8 the day it came out, and then immediately back to your 7.8 XD
So far, it seems to me like all unlocked ROMs drain faster than the locked ROM *while you're using the phone*, and your ROM with radio 16 has the least idle drain. I could probably get a week out of letting it idle, but I still don't understand why I could go for four days before, but now I'm lucky if I get 2 days.
No, Tango only. Or whatever the latest was before 7.8Have you tried a an unlocked mango ROM? Just curious if you would see any better battery life on that. It says v1.2 coming soon. For the sake of my sanity (lol) should I wait for that? How soon is soon? At least with WM6.5 we had XDA_UC, but WP7 involves a lot of work after a hard reset or flash :/Version 1.1 has been uploaded!
Here is the change log:
v1.1 - Fixes:
Games live tile now has the Xbox logo (instead of chess pieces)
Marketplace icon lost its WP logo sometimes
About screen restored to default
Grab it at the download link in the first post!
1.2 is just for the Euro version. I should call it 1.1b since its for a bug fix. Right now there are no 1.2 plans for the AT&T version. So flash awayIt says v1.2 coming soon. My European Titan is stuck on Radio 16. Can I flash this AT&T Rom instead of the European version? Or are there more differences?1.2 is just for the Euro version. I should call it 1.1b since its for a bug fix. Right now there are no 1.2 plans for the AT&T version. So flash away![]()
Yes please flash this AT&T! It's all the same like I said in the Euro Titan thread. My European Titan is stuck on Radio 16. Can I flash this AT&T Rom instead of the European version? Or are there more differences?
Will try it now. I hope it's Multilanguage?Yes please flash this AT&T! It's all the same like I said in the Euro Titan thread.
You have added AT&T apps (easily uninstall in less than 15 secs).
You get better working TellMe packages too. So flash away!
I'm not sure about multilanguage! Better check before you crack on with it!Will try it now. I hope it's Multilanguage?
The AT&T stock only has EnglishWill try it now. I hope it's Multilanguage?
I have seen. The ROM itself works perfect. Thank you. Only thing happend to me was I made the HTC Hub Tile smaller and now I cannot restore it to full size. After installation it was a double Tile. The AT&T stock only has English
Yea that's a bug that exists all of the ROMs. The only way to get it back would be to reset the phone and not change the size.I have seen. The ROM itself works perfect. Thank you.
