Ladies (uh, where?:() and Gentlemen (uh, HOW many!!:rolleyes:), I'm pleased to announce that today something new is born....."TheMIDTeam" rom development (all rights reserved)....:D

LET'S START :

(1) COMING FROM ANY ROM (GB and/or ICS) WITH FULL ROOT AND CWM RECOVERY GUIDE :

0. Use "My backup root" to make a FULL BACKUP of your apps and "sensible data" (sms, logs, etc), CAUSE THIS METHOD IS FULL WIPE. Do also a FULL NANDROID backup
1. Download "TheMIDTeam 1.4" zip file with MD5 "d82ca31273672565c0295c476c52a018" AND UNPACK IT in "[your SD card] / clockworkmod / backup" directory. THIS NEW VERSION ALREADY includes UPDATE 1 AND 2

2. Download "Abysskernel4.2" zip file and place it somewhere in your phone

1. Follow carefully THIS THREAD to obtain root
2. Install "mobile Odin" and flash THIS kernel
3. Follow above procedure "1" and enjoy :D​

(3) IF YOU DON'T LIKE "NEW METHODS" AND YOU WANT TO FLASH WITH CWM RECOVERY "CLASSIC METHOD" EVEN IF YOU WELL KNOW THAT IT IS DANGEROUS WITH ICS KERNELS (at the moment) AND, OF COURSE, YOU'RE STILL WITH CF LPY / LPF KERNEL :

WARNING(s) : ​

1. Angry Birds will FC, simply go to "applications" and move it to SD card
2. If crayon physics will FC, simply go to data/app (with root explorer or something similar), and re-install the app
3. Same thing above if other apps will FC​

4. Do a nandroid backup of your actual situation
5. Open mobile Odin and select "open file", then select "step 1" tar file. Now select "kernel", then select "step 2" file, verify that ALL (enable everoot, inject superuser, inject mobile Odin) are checked, then check also "wipe data and cache". Now press "flash firmware" and answer "yes" on md5 verify.....
6. After the flash, you will be in CWM recovery, do a WIPE DATA / FACTORY RESET, DON'T EXIT FROM RECOVERY but select "step 3" zip file and flash it. Now reboot.
7. Wait for cache rebuild, then when prompted select "SETUPWIZARD" (the second choice), check time option to "auto", then CHECK BOTH GOOGLE LOCATIONS options​

NOW THE CHANGELOG :

- System partition is "much cleaner" now, many applications have been moved to "data/app" for faster system responsiveness

- New Samsung transparent weather widget (Thanks to "vuidoi")
- New dialer from I717 AT&T ics rom, fixed "2-2" issue

- Samsung keyboard with "lewisteo" fonts mod embedded
- Changed "97personalize" script to TW default launcher

I didnt know Midnote was entirely deodexed..At least last time I installed it, it wasnt.

this IS MIDNOTE3.4....

but I decided to clean up the thread, and give greater emphasis to the important work of ALL, those like "zylor" that did the "deodex" work, and all those who want to contribute to this new project ..
