I have tried flashing it several times, both dirty and clean flashing methods report installation to be successful, but then I don't see any telltale signs of theOne5TOS anywhere in the filesystem, I have searched in /system, /vendor and /data partitions for the string 'theOne', zero results!!

I tried Paranoid Android and I was able to install and boot into it with no problems at all. What seems to be the problem with theOne5TOS ? Unless, it is exactly the same as STOCK with some tweaks and modifications that are not obvious simply be looking at the file listing, I'd say the installer fails but reports success! Has anyone experienced or am I just doing something wrong ?

As far as I know , 5TOS is dead . The developer doesn't have a 5t , so he abandoned it .

I think there isn't any difference bw the stock and last 5tOS .
5tOS was developed to remove the blotware and flash the stock rom according to your necessities.
But since the Aroma never works in the last 5tOS , there's no difference bw flashing stock and 5tOS .

5tOS was great till A10. Everything worked flawlessly in A9 .
I would rather say move on than spending time on this .

That explains why I couldn't tell if it was installed successfully or not! It probably was installed successfully. If it is really the same as stock A10 then there is not much to it just like you said. Thanks for replying, much appreciated.

I have been using Paranoid Android for a few days and so far I like the performance, but battery drain seems to be higher than stock OOS. Stock OOS has been problematic as I got no connectivity without wifi!!
