I'm coming from the Vibrant and I have the best experience with this phone.
At least I don't have to worry about ODIN bricking my phone & it doesn't feel like a cheap piece of plastic.
But yeah, you just do factory wipe + cache + dalvik, then flash the ROM.

Thanks.. i guess everybody has different preferences i'm just having horrible horrible battery life problem and 4g connection problem (it switches from 4g to 2g back to 4g randomly) with my sensation (and random reboots...) maybe i just have bad luck with this sensation... but battery problem is well known for htc phones so... hopefully this rom will fix the battery life a bit but thank you for ur tip!!

I should have an updated 1.50.531.1 build up pretty soon. Same deal as the 1.2 version except with a much needed clean up, updated Market/SuperUser/BusyBox/working init.d, and the CRT animation removed because that is a bit sluggish at times.

Anyone else having issues today w/ the wifi calling? Mine keeps saying "Not Registered" and when I click on "Register" nothing happens... any help greatly appreciated...
