Is this project aborted?
In one way, yes, I think. With the release of LineageOS TREBLE you can flash newer GSI of RRemix so this thread is kinda obsolete.
You need to install official LineageOS 15.1 with instruction provided in it's thread first. After that you should be able to flash official and updated GSI of RR from here:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/pr...pment/gsi-resurrection-remix-o-6-1-0-t3811299

Remember that you need only to format /data, /system and caches partition. Do not format vendor or boot.
I'm not sure if everything will be working but it should as on Lineage

We've got only A partition. Phones with A/B can be identified in practical way by doing OTA system update to them. You don't need to reboot your phone to update them. Let's say that phone is already using A partition as system and update is done on partition B. After reboot they are swapped and your system will boot from B partition, so you don't need to wait in recovery for update process to finish. Next time an update will be applied to partition A and swap.

I haven't got any smartphone with A/B in my hands yet but I believe TWRP are showing and naming these partitions so u can actually know it without doing an OTA.

Also as I can see you can use APP from Market like DiskInfo to know what partitions u have. Check attachment how it looks on Mi A1

I flashed the recovery, but it showed cannot mount vendor, after flashing the rom,the phone entered the fastboot mode,I am using p2c72,maybe it doedn't support p2c72?

Finally I flashed the rom successfully, but I cannot root it by magisk or supersu .

how do you solve the problem?i flash the rom then appear "can't mount vendor"
