[ROM][TREBLE][8.1] crDroid v4.5 for P20 Lite

HELP! BRICKED PHONE
I just bricked my Huawei P20 Lite after flashing this rom . I was a fool that I forgot to flash the provided twrp img and flashed this rom with a modded twrp ( version - 3.2.1-0). The phone booted perfectly after flashing but when I rebooted to recovery, the phone got stuck on twrp logo. I tried rebooting to fastboot mode but couldn't . The phone only reboots to recovery and then gets stuck at twrp logo. How do I unbrick this? .

Great news guys, I found the fix of notch. I don' t know yet how I will release it (by fix or rom update). Stay tuned !

Thanks for the reply! Luckily I was able to reboot into fastboot mode somehow (nearly 50 tries) and then flashed the system. I was able to boot into recovery after that. Restored the system, running on stock rom. Since this rom doesn't support Volte I can't use this as my operator here only supports Volte calls. I will sone switch to an LTE operator which supports calling on that and will flash this rom after so . Keep up the good work!
Bluetooth
Hi sorry to ask twice but as I mentioned in an earlier post there are some issues with syncing via Bluetooth for the p20 lite and fitbit ionic watch (at least on stock rom) ., These issues are well discussed among fitbit users in the forums.
I am wondering if there is any reason that changing Rom might resolve this issue? Is there any difference in bt drivers or configuration?

You will need to fully Wipe it since it has no decryption support build into it but you can unbrick your device with it ^^

Vendor Image Mismatch
Hi, I've just flashed your ROM following your guide on my 3e (p20 lite) with Magisk and Gapps stock. My phone boots to a black screen with navigation buttons and an error message that says:
Google says the vendor image it's looking for is a Pixel 2? Has anyone else come across this?

I've just installed the ROM and discovered that my Bluetooth earphones have started to make crackling and popping sounds when paired with my phone. Not a deal-breaker however can be mildly infuriating at its worst

well, let me share with you what's worked for me so far.
i'm assuming you've got adb and fastboot working, that you have a basic understanding of how to use command line, and that your device's bootloader is unlocked.
before even starting, i downloaded all files in OP (crDroid, gapps & Magisk) you might have to edit the update script as mentioned earlier in this thread but here's mine. and copied them onto the phone's microsd.
then downloaded this twrp. i found it in the MorfuZ threat and @jaysrp pointed out it works best. the recovery_ramdisk.img is in de data folder in the zip.
before this rom was released, i had MorfuZ v3.4 running so i did an erecovery restore to get back to stock.
i tried to go from MorfuZ to crDroid and i got a bootloop. after the first boot and skipping all configuration, i made sure OEM Unlock & USB debugging were enabled under settings>developer options
powered my phone off, held Vol- and plugged the usb cable in. the cable's plugged into my computer.
flash with
thenCode:fastboot flash recovery_ramdisk recovery_ramdisk.img
as i did that, i unplugged the phone from the computer and held Vol+ to boot into twrp.Code:fastboot reboot
once there, i followed the OP install instructions:
go to TWRP, format data and a full wipe (system, data, cache, dalvik/art cache)
install crDroid rom
flash gapps and magisk
rebooted
note that in twrp, if you press on Install and view the internal storage, the folder names are all gibberish (encryption not supported in this twrp?) so after this, whatever i wanna flash, i copy it on the microsd, just to be sure it'll be accessible from twrp..
i've also installed xposed-v90-sdk27-arm64-beta3 with success if that's something you'd be interested in. just remember to wipe cache and dalvik after and expect a longer than usual first boot.
now that's for the installation. as for user experience, i've noticed the device gets a bit hot while charging and i'm not exactly sure if fast charge works as expected with the vendor's charger the device still charges pretty fast so i suppose it is. android 8.1 runs smoothly. i love it <3. i haven't encountered any performance issues and i'm very happy with it so far.33If the twrp problem is not solved yet I got a twrp in my italian group, I can share asap here.
