AOSP is more better in certain sense, if want some customization go for omni but there is no MTP that should be enabled from developer option. the steps I did for installing are:
* Assuming I'm coming from emui 8, flash this twrp.
* Run dirty flash.
* Run factory reset with stock recovery, if you did it with TWRP will never ever boot.
* enjoy the rom.
I can make separate topic for aosp for that.
You have to set the APN of your internet provider manually, going into Settings > Networks and Internet > Mobile Network > Advanced > Access Point Name and there create the configuration (the information you have to write would likely be in some guide on the site of your internet provider, you have to google for them).
I've never had problems with everything configured properly, so I can't help you any more
I can't say if he will continue developing them, some days ago it seemed not, but now the development has ben resumed(?).
* Your warranty is now void. * We are not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards, * thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please * do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM * before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if * you point the finger at us for messing up your device, we will laugh at you.
Shut down the phone and go into TWRP, then copy-paste what you need, OR
It is suggested to be on the stock (note: EMUI Oreo July/August)
