It's good to see another ROM for p9
installed It looks good, neat and very smooth ?
The camera is normal, maybe using the official camera app or the Google camera app will improve it,There's a little battery drainage ،generally awesome

First of all thank you for the rom and all the work!
I’ve installed the build form the original thread since the download link here still doesn’t work :D
I’m not sure if this build includes an Emui cam or if theres any difference but the other one came with opencamera as camera app so I flashed Emui camera mod by @flex1911 https://forum.xda-developers.com/pr...opment/kirin-huawei-camera-android-p-t3840110 which works great with this rom and brings all the features like pro mode and monochrome etc.
The playstore apk I put into the priv-app folder and it’s there and seems working but the problem I have is that I can’t login to my google account. Not via app and not via microG settings. I can type my email and password, confirm the user agreement and then it says it will take a short while but nothing ever happens for hours. Any guess?

good to mentioned this camera huawei mod and what custom recovery are you use ? > also i have The same problem about google account nothing happped >

About the Google Account try to added manually through the settings Maybe it works.

can Explain more The playstore apk how to install it ?

I seem to have the same problem with microG so I will investigate

There is no difference: the main thing of "my" GSI was that the camera works with opencamera or other apps. Where most of the time, it doesn't :) yes good idea to flash that, I will add it to the main thread for those who want the stock camera app

Thanks for looking into it! However the Emui Camera is causing bootloops with the new build. Also trying to install the Playstore is now causing bootloops as well :D (And a minor bug I discovered is app crash when trying to open Bluetooth/nfc connection menu with either build)

albelushi7 I have not tried any further than copying playstore to priv-app folder because we can’t sing in for now after. Not sure what else is needed to make it work actually . I use P9-EVA-8.0.0-TWRP-v4.img from rebrand thread

albelushi7 I have not tried any further than copying playstore to priv-app folder because we can’t sing in for now after. Not sure what else is needed to make it work actually . I use P9-EVA-8.0.0-TWRP-v4.img from rebrand thread

Somehow Google Play works for me, and I think also the services are working, I've copied the Google Play file to Inside the app system's roots and into priv-app folder For the first time did not work. Then unexpectedly I saw an icon and I have tried more than one version for Google Play Store, so I think you should choose the appropriate version and it will work. I will try upload the correct apk. so Try these steps to work Google Play Store and google account
-Delete Google Play Store
- install Google Chrome And sign in
-sign in google account Through the settings(setting>account>Select Google Account and enter your account)
_copy the Google Play apk to Inside the app system's roots and into priv-app folder
-Restart and the account in Google Play will be registered automatically in phone and Google Play Store.

You do not need to gapps Because the system originally seems to contain Google services Just choose the correct version of apk.

Hmm thanks, very strange. Yes I can log in using the white google icon which opens the browser in settings/accounts too. This lets me sync contacts and gmail works as well. But when I tap sign in in Chrome settings/account/sign to chrome just nothing happens and browsing to accounts.google.com and logging into my account from there with Chrome doesn’t seem to change anything for me. And the camera app from the magisk module doen’t let me shoot any photos somehow. Video recording works but when I tap the shutter in any photo mode, nothing happens for me, no pics getting saved

I can tell battery life is pretty excellent on this rom. An issue I came across is that if Magisk is active then 'phhTrebleApp' will constantly cause high cpu load. Hiding in magisk doesn’t help but force closing does, next to no drain anymore

I manage to install this ROM via fastboot.
But I am having problem how to install Google related apps so that it will sync all my Google data to phone.
Can you describe more the steps to make Google functioned.

Thank you.

I don't know why I have drain battery ! . I'll try this... also Maybe that's because high cpu load Most of the time.


Also fast charging does not work ,Even if it is activated from the settings .Maybe you may check it @Phie

-enable Sync in settings
- Add a Google account through the settings and sync.
-Download Google Chrome Add Google Account there too
- create a folder into priv-app and copy the Google Play apk to Inside the app system's roots and into folder in priv-app .Restart and should see the Google Play Store and your account registered:)
