ATTENTION

i'm not sure why this happens but my note drains batteries to death. this is the second battery within 3 Weeks.
the note lays around, i want to unlock it with the power button and nothing happens.
i plug it into wall charger, nothing happens.
so i take out the battery and check it with the multimeter, always -0,2Volt.......

maybe its a defect of ANKER batteries that they over-discharge, or could this eventually has something to do with the rom or kernel?
i'm running LN 5.2 with c.o.h hello world kernel

c.o.h hello world kernel has the CPU and the GPU overcloked. That should make your battery drain a lot faster. Download Tegrak and undo the OC or flash Philz kernel.

I had tegrak installed, but CPU wasnt höher than 1400...

How do i flash another kernel?
Simply drop it in Odin and flash it?
I tried to flash philz kernel via recovery but that leaded to a bootloop.
I dont know how to say it, but since i have ln5.2 with the coh, it seems to me, that coh wont let me flash other kernels, something stucks and keeps installed....weird to explain....

Flash via recovery, it should work. Check on tegrak if your GPU isn't overclocked.

You can try Xposed Framework and Theme-Engine but I prefer the Stock Look. Arya Theme from Khmoktar works with this ROM too if you are into that.

And yes this is by far the best TW ROM. Rock stable, good battery life, no additional bloatware crap like Beats or stuff (except the one included by Samsung )

My note is coming close to almost 2 years ( never had a device this long) and this is the rom , I had on longest at a strech.. For the last 3-4 months, did not even flash anything else.
So smooth, fast and stable..
However recently my phone had suddenly become slow.. It was becoz the internal sd was getting too full... Did a full wipe of internal and external sd and reflashed.. Back to the magic speed....

I agree - this has been the most reliable custom ROM I've used but it's also slowing down a lot recently

I can only agree, I usually flash this ROM when I need a stable and reliable ROM. You could give WarZone ROM a try though, it is a little bit lighter (lacks all Samsung apps in fact). Battery drain is about the same, pretty good.

So is this ROM now Dead?

Doesn't seem to be any more development

What's the next mos similar ROM to this which is more up to date?

I also want a ROM that will get the camera up and running as fast as possible.

Hi everybody, yesterday I flashed Live note version 5.2. Everything works great instead of wifi-direct. Connection is succesful but the file not send nor received. Do somebody have similar issue?
At least only one remark, whole messages aplication is not translated to slovak languague. Only english.

I have been using LiveNote5.2 for a long time but recently is seems to be so slow and laggy - even after resetting the phone - especially YouTube, I suspect it's the new YouTube ever since they added those DOGs in the top right hand corner (Digital On screen Graphics)
