Friendly ROM, indeed...
It seems that just GPS and compass sensors doesn't work properly.

Just for add some useful info, accelerometer also is not operative.
Unfortunately the patch seems not to be installable to now, so dunno if it contains some driver to enable sensors.
It is anyway nice to see tough people keeping alive these old flagships!

I know that the device is old but I do not enjoy using it even though there are 4 devices and the most recent is the s8 Plus
In general, I have not been able to install this rom
Even though I am installing the Patch and Kernell but the device does not come off
I want to know how you can install it on your note 2.

Note II was my first "serious" Android phone after years of Symbian so I am quite tied on it!
Well, I simply applied what wrote in post #52 to install the ROM:
In Aroma menu, select S3 instead of Note 2 and the installer will work flawlessly..
Other story about the patch: simply, it cannot be installed in this version.
Maybe it's matter of zipping the patch, sometimes it happens, but I cannot try this now.

I followed the instructions as they are and unfortunately did not take off the device.
But did you mean to put a signal on the S3 instead of the

My humble opinion is that there is something not clear on the Aroma menu.
I never liked Aroma installers because are a not needed variable respect on a clean zip file, imho.
Someone likes Aroma, not me.
Ops, just found another not-so-little problem.
USB connection fails, therefore I cannot attempt nothing via ADB.
Recovery USB works fine, it's ROM matter
i did it without backup loooool my phone is dead
I will correct by tomorrow.

If you choose the s3 3g version on the aroma. Thats not matter If you flash hotfix. Because the hotfix have some problems. And the hotfix is didnt work.You can boot the rom without the flash hotfix If you choose s3 3g version on the aroma. But i think you will experince some problems. Because s3 and note 2 differnt device. Yes a lot of things same. But i dont think "choose s3 3g version on the aroma" is the real solution. The real solution is hotfix. But as i said the hotfix need fix. Hahaha
