Hi, today I'm releasing a A8+ Port made for J5 2016.



Disclaimer:

I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards, thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you. Hard. A lot.


This ROM isn't open source, if wanna use any files from my ROM , you have to ask me for permission.

Installation:
  1. Make sure you have this TWRP installed
  2. Make sure you have latest stock Nougat installed before installing , because of modem and bootloader
  3. Make sure your phone is fully charged to 100%.
  4. Download the ROM and transfer to your phone
  5. Boot the phone into Recovery Mode
  6. Wipe in TWRP : Dalvik Cache, Cache, Data, System, Android Secure, Persist
  7. Flash ROM
  8. Flash Quantum Kernel Zip
  9. The first boot may take 15-20 min

Features:
  1. Smart View Works(will work in next update)
  2. Added USB Backup App
  3. Added Samsung Notes
  4. Scroll Capture
  5. Most A8+ Apps
  6. New A8+ Wallpapers
  7. The ROM features most stuff you'd see on your stock ROM, but as far as I can tell the phone feels snappier to me

    Quantum kernel features :
    1) I didn't change anything in the stock kernel source, just made it, I'm not a kernel expert , to be honest, but if something works don't change it
    Quantum was needed in v1 , not required if u are flashing v1.1

Bugs:

  1. Blue Light Filter isn't working
  2. Radio and Samsung Internet is broken (to fix Samsung Internet , update it via Play Store or Samsung Apps)
  3. You tell me


Notice : U need to flash both versions 1 and 1.1, you cannot flash v1.1 (as it's meant to be an ota)

Update v1.1 FINAL UPDATE :
-Added AppLock
-Fixed Smart View (Screen Mirroring)
-Fixed SystemUI (extra space on left and right side of status bar indicatior)
-Added 4G Only Option in Mobile Networks Menu
-Added Live Message and S Pen stuff (most of it works, can't draw on stuff)
-Removed NFC app that was making phone's overheat
-Added Mesa's Quasar Kernel to the ROM (if updated in the future , flash it after the update zip)

And with this last update, I'm not gonna be updating this ROM anymore.
So don't ask for fixes, bcuz I'm not gonna be able to update it.

By the way good job on the rom it's running real smooth and the wallpapers omg it looks so cool
Also how can I reset the padding on the status bar? It's disturbing and gives me a headache
