Guys, Serenity Kernel has been updated to v1.5. :highfive:
Changelog:
- Rebased to Quasar v1.6.
- Stock CPU frequencies used.
- Battery backup is optimised and should fix the fast drain below 15%
- Bootloop problem for some users should be fixed.

Rom is too slow for my taste but eat's less battery. You need to make 2 kernel's to choose from. One for battery life and one for perforemance! Btw. Thanks for good rom it looks good.

Kernel

So,I am an old user of this ROM...but I bought a new phone bla bla and now I want to give to my brother my J5 but he has Lineage right now and few times I installed this ROM and it's been to slow,I can't even pull the notification without lagging ( weird, cause when I was using this ROM it was awesome )...so I read a thousands of comments and everyone have their story but I want the real one...which kernel should I use ? And what to choose in the menu for the root...So i want speed and perfomance...baterry life more or less it doesnt matter...I have J500FN model of this great phone...Thanks in advance

SD-Card migrate to an internal Storage

Hello Guys,

is it possible to migrate a SD-Card into an internal Storage with this Rom?
If is possible, how can I do this. Maybe a step by step instruction is vey helpfully.

My feedback related to Serenity Kernel 1.5:

V1.1 is going effectively fast, with quite limited lag between actions. But must take care when reaching 15% battery, as it drains fast.

V1.5 is almost unusable. Lagging for each actions. Takes around 10mn to perform a complete boot with Cpu stabilized. scrolling not smooth enough. Battery does not drain faster in low conditions.

Is this due to the stock CPU frequencies you choose?
Or potentially to the quasar 1.6, that seemed however to perform very well when installed?
Or combination?
@updesh94 Would be great if you could revert the change for CPU frequencies in a 1.7 or 1.6bis kernel release to get the best of all.

I would suggest you to use an even better kernel released by @BulgarianJesus, Dragon kernel it even supports slight overclock along with better battery backup.
its the daily driver now in my j5.
