I do test kernels with more or less same usage to be able to compare them. That includes medium phone usage with youtube, xda, web surfing and etc with no heavy gaming. Lss3.8 battery usage is a bit higher than lss3.7 (with lss3.7 I could use my phone for longer duration, like 20-30 min more), but you have more control over your battery saving by synapse imho. I mean you can decrease it if you want for daily usage or increase the performance if you are going to play some heavy games so that game would not lag at all. That is the beauty of synapse I suppose. So the next perfect step would be possibility of having saved presets, like "daily usage", "night", "gaming", "movie time" and etc so that we can switch quickly to the required presets :victory:

I remember telling you to buy a new battery when you presented your sot hours in s7edge port thread, and you said you dont have enough finances. Still same. I think you should buy a new battery if you cannot squeeze that much juice from your present battery

im om f2fs now, with lss 3.8... a few pages back i ask about it to @kopitalk.
remember! remove the lss3.8 on zip if you will use it on f2fs because the zip file that comes with the kernel has script hat will format your cache partition back to ext4.

If not CDMA you might give it a try. Should work

After installation, my phone will lock up 25-35 seconds after booting up and will restart on its own. I've found out that if I remove the SIM card, the problem's gone. Funny thing is that my SIM card is recognized, finds my proper carrier and everything seems to work. I have yet to find out if it's the data side or just the modem itself. It's a N900W8 BTW.

I flashed the modem to the latest possible, but still does the same thing. Really looks good and looks like I could use my Bluetooth properly this time, if it wasn't from that.

The only thing I haven't done is install it with another device on the list meant for that, but it probably won't work from the start.

UPDATE: Installing the N9005 version didn't do any good (I'm surprised it booted). I was able to turn off mobile data, but it still locks up and reboots. I have no idea what's going on. I think it's cursed.
