Ok my good people, I bring you a ROM for our great T-Mobile Note 8.
First things First, I am in NO WAY RESPONSIBLE if you brick, damage, break or simply blow up your phone! This is a custom ROM and will void your warranty if shown to a service attendant as is! It is assumed that you know what you are doing if you already rooted your Note 8 and are looking for mods
Okay, so before we begin, there is one simple question we need to ask, are you rooted? If yes, are you using SamFail V2.5? If yes to both, then proceed onwards, if your answer is no then please go here and follow instructions on how to root your Note 8. If you are on SamFail V2.5 then you can flash this rom without worries. If u are on V1 or V3, then you flash at your own risk as I have not tested this on V1 or V3. There are user reports of it working for both, but I can not verify nor confirm this personally, so it is still a risk. For guidance on what bootloader version you are you can also visit the stated link for the root method as that is not what we are covering here.

- Be ROOTED on SamFail V2.5
- Remove WETAmod App and Data
- Clean All Substratum Data, Install afterwards
- Flashfire
- Common sense

Rom Information and Files for Download
Ok, so this is my personal ROM, i.e. do not ask or request a mod. If you happen to see a mod for Nougat around other threads and think it is a good mod, post a link with a kind suggestion and if I deem it worthy, I will add it. I am no one's slave, so dont treat me as one, I do this on my free time. Finally and most importantly DO NOT ASK FOR ETA OR TRY TO RUSH ME BY POSTING "WHEN IS ROM GOING TO BE UP". When it is up it is up, PERIOD!!!!!
I have now added an archive to downloads that contains stock files, as well as modded files, and then some. It had all the previous zips to revert to stock, the emojis, everything. Check it it. It is a ZIP file not meant for flashing. Extract the wantd files from the archive and then flash it.
I have also added boot animations and boot sounds so you can flash them. If they are located elsewhere in the phone, you can remove from the archive and place them manually applying the right permissions.
This is now a full ROM, please make sure you understand this as it is different from an add-on mod pack. Follow the instructions correctly to have everything working as it should
INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS
Important Note Before Installing TWIZtd N8. Some apps like WETAmod app, Substratum , UI tuner have issues interacting with my ROM. Delete and clear all of their data before installing if dirty flashing (which I strongly suggest you dont do). You can install them afterwards and modify at your own risk. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!!!
NEW VENGEANCE ROM REQUIRES DATA WIPE FOR OPTIMAL PERFORMANCE. IF YOU ARE USING FLASHFIRE OR SAFESTRAP, PLEASE WIPE DATA, DALVIK, SYSTEM, AND CACHE FOR THE BEST PERFORMANCE ON TWIZtd VENGEANCE N8. IF YOU COMPLAIN ABOUT MODS NOT WORKING, I WILL POINT YOU BACK TO THESE LINES WRITTEN HERE AND STATE YOUR FAILURE TO READ OP INSTRUCTIONS. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!!!!!
Caveat for AOD Custom BG mod. It is pre-installed in the rom. This means when trying to access AOD settings from the settings app, you will get an AOD force close. Follow the instructions in the Q&A on how to get this fixed.
Safestrap Method (Preferred):
Step 1 - Ensure Busybox is installed to /system/xbin.
Step 2 – Ensure that SuperSu is updated.
Step 3 – Install Safestrap, Open Safestrap and grant it permission. (If not already Installed)
Step 4 – Select Install Recovery.
Step 5 – Select Reboot to Recovery.
Step 6 – Select Wipe button.
Step 7 – Select Advanced Wipe and choose, Dalvik, Cache, System, and Data. (Do Three Times)
Step 8 – Select Back Triangle Button to back out to Main menu.
Step 9 – Select Install button.
Step 10 – Navigate to location of downloaded TWIZtd Vengeance N8 and select it.
Step 11 – Swipe to confirm Flash.
Step 12 – Select Reboot System button after install complete.
Step 13 – Upon reboot allow device to fully settle for a couple of minutes as the additional toggles are being added. There will be a toast message indicating the boot is complete.
Step 14 – Go to the bottom of this post and hit the THANKS button.
Step 15 – Enjoy!!!!!
FlashFire Method:
Step 1 - Ensure Busybox is installed to /system/xbin.
Step 2 – Ensure that SuperSu is updated.

Step 4 – Select the RED + button on the bottom right of FlashFire.
Step 5 – Select "Flash ZIP or OTA" button.
Step 6 – Navigate to location of downloaded TWIZtd Vengeance N8 and select it.
Step 7 – Check the box next to (Mount /system read/write) then select the check mark in top right corner.
Step 8 – Select "Wipe" button.
Step 9 – Ensure 3rd party apps, Dalvik cache, System Data, and Cache partition boxes are selected then select the check mark in top right corner.
Step 10 – Long press Wipe section and position it 1st before ZIP flash.
Step 11 – Select the Flash section at the bottom of FlashFire. Boot will take a while so relax for a while.
Step 12 – Press the lightning icon to begin flash.
Step 13 – Upon reboot allow device to fully settle for a couple of minutes as the additional toggles are being added. There will be a toast message indicating the boot is complete.
Step 14 – Go to the bottom of this post and hit the THANKS button.
Step 15 – Enjoy!!!!!
